I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

Information Kris L. would like to know about your pet
All dogs are unique. It’s important for me to have an idea of what to watch for or how to plan for visits. Do they need a crate? Are they shy and reserved or bouncy and love to wrestle? What special needs do they have? Do they need leash walks more than open running? What are their feeding time routines? If your dog has been known to bite, (meaning really bite, not simply warning nips) I probably will not be able to sit for them.
A typical day
*Fetch: Most dogs love to run so fetch is something I like to incorporate a couple of times a day. *Exploration: dogs love to explore their surroundings so I give them lots of time for roaming the property. *Sit, Stays: Dogs love to show what they can do, so doing some sit & stay work is always a part of their day. As well as posing for a quick picture. Leash Walks: Leash walks are also a good way to build focus & fitness, so I like to incorporate those as well. Brushing: Some dogs love to be brushed. Mine do, so I like to include brushing as part of their routine. Rest: Naps are always a part of the day. The dogs look forward to piling on my lap in the big chair for a rest and bonding time.

Pet care experience
I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside.
Reviews

Kris and her husband were fantastic!!! My dog enjoyed playing with her dog and she sent update pictures! I definitely plan on using Kris again in the future!

Winston loved Kris and fam. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, despite his anxiety. Winston seemed to really get along with her pug! She was very communicative and sent photos and videos. She even dropped him off and made sure he was settled because I had a red eye flight. She also gave him a Christmas stocking which was so sweet. He loved it!
Kris is a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and dog/cat/horse mom. She also cares for her local community as an on-call fire fighter, dropping whatever she is doing to run out of the house to help those in need. She keeps her home and yard tidy, is pleasant to be around and easy-going by nature. Anyone's pets would be in great company under her care.
