The way I take care of your pet(s) is based on how you want me to take care of your pet(s). I have been doing this for awhile and everyone has different schedules/preferences on how they want their family taken care of. I do my absolute best to follow you as the owners instruction/direction.

Information Kris K. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know your dog(s) and/or cat(s) behaviors, if they are special needs/have a disability, do they need to be monitored, are they escape artists etc. Inform me of your dogs personality traits and what they love to do and are comfortable with and we can go from there. I have yet to meet a dog or cat who is beyond the measure of “walking” “taking care of” and/or “house sitting” for.

A typical day

Everyone has different exercise routines and activities for their pets. Some like leisure walks, some want you to take them to the park and throw the ball until they get tired, some just want to let them outside and them do their thing. I will do what is requested and if there is something I can do for you to go above and beyond what’s requested I will do it.

Experienced Veterinarian Assistant

Pet care experience

Hello potential clients! My name is Kris, this has asked me what sets me apart from other dog walkers/house sitters? Well I have Veterinarian Assistant experience. I volunteered at the Humane Society and helped the Veterinarian as a Veterinarian Assistant/Technician at an Animal Shelter with various care of the animals not just Dogs and Cats either but also have experience with Birds, Snakes, Lizards, Cows, Horses, Chickens etc. I had to groom them, feed them, clean their enclosures, help with medications. I was told by all staff that I have a natural calm nature that animals love and was able to calm even the most aggressive of them and the Veterinarian always called me by name to help as he would prefer me to work with him over other staff members because I knew what I was doing, how to act, and how to listen to direction. I did in fact leave them but not because I wanted too but I wanted to finish my University Degree. I am educated, graduated, in between careers right now and would love to take care of your animals and home whatever they might be or need. I have owned a couple birds, about 3 dogs, and over 10 cats. Right now it is just me looking at getting a rescue cat here before to long as soon as I find a stable career for my furry family. Rest assured your pets and home will be looked after, taken care of, loved, and treated with proper care and direction from you the owner! Look forward to meeting you and thank you for the opportunity to look after your furry, feathered, or scaly family! Meet and greets will be a non-refundable fee to reserve the appointment. All potential clients can use the "schedule a visit" feature through the Rover app. If you move forward with booking, the fee is credited toward your total stay/service.

I felt so comfortable having Kris do drop-ins to care for my pets while I was out of the country for a week! The regular updates after each visit were so reassuring, and I trusted that he would let me know about any major issues (luckily, there weren't any!)

Kris did an amazing job watching our dogs and caring for our home. He had good communication, kept the dogs routines and cleaned up after himself including washing the sheets and making the bed where he slept. He sat for us before, and we will definitely use him again.

Kris was super patient and took the time to wait for responses, even though we were busy with family. It was very kind to not mind extended the visit window just to be sure everything was taken care of correctly
