I’ve got experience with puppies as well as geriatric babies, which usually just means more attention, often more patience, and sometimes more clean-up. I have some experience administering medications. I love to be active and outdoors.

I’m not presently able to host your pets as my housemate’s dogs are not usually accepting of outsiders. I am open to staying with your pets in their space while you’re away, going for frequent walks, and keeping them company.

Kris was a great companion for 5 days for George, our 6lb Maltipoo. He took great care to keep him safe and happy and sent us pictures of his activities. We returned home to a happy dog, and clean and tidy home. Highly recommend Kris.
Kris did a great job watching our dog while we were away during one of the worst snowstorms of the season. We came home to a tidy house, a cleared driveway and a happy dog. Thanks Kris!
We are so grateful to Kris for taking such wonderful care of our high-energy pup, Pip, while we were away for nearly two weeks. We were pretty anxious about leaving her, but Kris quickly put us at ease with their attentiveness and kindness. It was clear Pip was happy, well-loved, and in the best hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Kris to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.
This was our first time using Rover. Kris D. was recommended and I would absolutely use him again. We came home to a very happy Kolbie! All dogs have their routines and it seemed Kris followed our instructions perfectly. Loved getting photos of Kolbie throughout our vacation. As mentioned, this was our first experience with Rover... having a house sitter, as well as, a pet sitter. I hope Kris made himself at home and he left my house pretty much spotless! I wouldn't hesitate to have him sit for me again.
Our dog, Sophie, loves when Chris is able to care for her. He always takes great care of her and keeps us informed while away!
Kris is an exceptional caring person. He cared for our dog Skyler for three weeks in our home, while we went to my son’s wedding on the other side of the world. I knew Skyler was in capable hands and never worried about him, which was such a relief for such a long extensive, and emotional trip. Kris we are grateful to you forever for taking such good care of Skyler and enabling us to attend an important event in our lives. You made it possible. Skyler bonded with Kris so well, he was sad to see him go and I can tell missed him immediately. Kris is also an excellent painter and we were able to hire him separately to do some projects, which he did expertly. Thank you again!

Schedule
I do interior painting & handyman work so I try to stay kind of close to town. Based between Lake Ann and Traverse City, I can be very flexible with my availability in the area with some advance notice.
