I have hands-on experience administering both oral and injectable medications, and as previous owner of a senior cat, I’m especially aware of the subtle signs that may indicate a pet is feeling unwell or in need of veterinary care. I provide attentive and compassionate care, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, and engaging your pet with play and affection. If your pet is shy or uncomfortable around new people, I will respect their space and let them set the pace of interaction. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment that works well for both you and your pet. I’m also happy to help with additional household tasks, such as watering plants, cleaning up minor messes, or bringing in the mail.

When I’ve pet-sat in the past, my routine typically begins with feeding the cat their wet food (if requested), checking and refreshing water and dry food bowls, and cleaning the litter box. When it comes to dogs, I will immediately bring them outside to go potty. Then proceed to feeding (if requested) and refreshing water. Once those essentials are taken care of, I’m happy to handle additional tasks such as watering plants, washing any dishes I’ve used, or taking out the trash. I always make time to interact with your pet - whether that means playing, petting, or simply keeping them company if they’re in the mood. You can also expect photo updates during each visit so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

This is Kourtney’s second time watching my cat Piper. She was wonderful!! She communicated with me the entire time and I had complete trust in her! She was extremely flexible with me. I had to extend my trip and she was able to work with me. Highly recommend hiring her for your fur babies!

I’m not sure how it happened but my cat got locked in my bedroom for 2 days without food or water and he peed on my bed and tore up the carpet under the door. I know I left the door open a bit and the cat possibly shut it. Just bummed as these cat sittings aren’t cheap and now I have to buy a new mattress as well as the trauma of my cat being locked in a room so long and paying for him to not even be fed. I don’t blame the sitter completely as I don’t she locked him in the room but still upsetting when you pay for a service And your pets weren’t taken care of. Lastly I had it set up for 5:30 and for some reason she kept coming earlier and earlier each day with it eventually being 3:15. Maybe I’m just overprotective of my cats it was just a bummer to come to.
Kourtney came highly recommended and she was fantastic!

My weekday availability is limited to the evenings, however I am still available daily on weekends unless noted on my schedule. I try to update my calendar daily but please always feel free to reach out!
