About me: My best compliments are from my clients. Many have told me that before I started caring for their dog, they always had to deal with a traumatized or sick dog. Your dog will return happy, as my home is safe, full of love, and calm. Experience; I have been taking care of pets for over 18 years. I have a 11 year old Beagle named Jake. He is very laid back and gets along with all dogs. We have a house on 2 acres with a huge fenced yard. Dogs quickly trust me, which will bring you peace of mind. I am really good with dogs who struggle with anxiety. Environment; I maintain a safe, quiet, and pet friendly environment. Your pet will receive lots of love and attention. We also spend a lot time outside, weather permitting.

Kourtney was very easy to communicate and book with. We were away on a long trip but felt very reassured and comfortable as we received updates and pictures while away. Our boys had a great time staying with Kourtney and Jake!

Kourtney is absolutely phenomenal! We were so worried because our usual Rover sitter was not available. Kourtney was very empathetic with our situation and made our CKCS fur baby feel comfortable. For those out there worried about their anxious pup with special needs, Kourtney is absolutely perfect and a brilliant sitter.
Kourtney is so wonderful and Riley dog always looks so content and happy in the pictures I get. She was very flexible and understanding of schedule changes. This is Riley’s second time staying with her for several days, and it’s so great to know Riley is in good hands and being cared for so well.
Kourtney was great, sent pictures, has a nice beautiful big backyard. My shepherd / Mal mix had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Kourtney!

Schedule
I work from home 2 days each week. I get up at 4:30 AM to care for the dogs before work. I am gone for eight hours and when I’m home, I am spending time with the dogs. I try to maintain the schedule provided by the owner, as dogs like their routines.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and spend a lot of time playing with my pets outside. I do not leave pets outside unattended. My home is very safe to ensure they do not have access to anything that could harm them. My dogs have access to food twice daily and water 24/7. Sometimes I do have to run errands and can crate while away. I only crate if needed and trust the owner to let me know what is best. It is very important to let me know if your dog needs to be in a crate if I have to run an errand or have an appointment.

A typical day
Just like people, all dogs are different. Some love to fetch while others enjoy a nice walk. I have a fenced yard so I play fetch with my dog multiple times a day. Jake loves to have a buddy to fetch with. I live in a nice neighborhood and enjoy long walks.
