Military Veteran | Lifelong Animal Lover Hello! My name is Kortni, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since the age of 8, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals—from horses and livestock to dogs, cats, and even fish. My experience comes from both personal ownership and working alongside professional trainers, always with the goal of providing well-rounded, compassionate care. During my time in the military, I was fortunate to have a few incredible opportunities to work with military working dogs—an experience that deepened my respect for animal intelligence, discipline, and emotional needs.

Kortni is the best pet sitter I could’ve asked for! Her clear love for animals shines through when you see her interact with your pet. My cat is usually very shy, but not towards her! Instant friends upon meeting. For any of my pet needs in the future, I will be booking with Kortni! :)
Our dog had a delightful time with Kortni and her family. Her enthusiasm to take care of Brinkley was evident and he had a wonderful play day.

Kortni and Mooshka really hit it off! Kortni took Mooshka for a couple of great walks during our stay at the Kalama Lodge. It couldn’t have been more convenient for us as Kortni was able to meet us in the lobby and take Mooshka from there. Kortni was quick to respond to all texts and I could tell she just loved hanging out with Mooshka. Would highly recommend!!
Kortni is amazing! Great communication and flexibility. Her love of animals is so clear and created an immediate sense of ease for my partner and I when leaving our pets with a non family/friend sitter for the first time. Kortni sent us daily photos and gave both dogs the daily love and exercise they needed. She was incredibly competent and confident handling the medications and potential emergency scenarios for our Aussie with epilepsy too. So grateful to have been able to fully enjoy our time away from home knowing our pups were in great hands!

Schedule
Now that I’ve recently transitioned out of the military, I’m taking time to reconnect with the things I love most: animals, nature, and a slower pace of life. That also means I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to your pet’s unique needs—whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific routine. This is my passion, and what I do for work.

I currently have an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd at home who’s the biggest spoiled lap dog you’ll ever meet. I understand how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every animal in my care like one of my own—with love, patience, and attention to detail. Special diet? Specific routine? Just let me know—I’m happy to accommodate. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

A typical day
Does your pet enjoy being a couch potato, or are they more into tapping into their inner Lightning McQueen and embodying speed? Whichever they prefer, I am here to do it with them, from new smells in the neighborhood, relaxing and birdwatching in the park (or window!), to playing in one of the local off leash dog parks, I love it all and want to do what is best for your pet.
