Throughout my time in the client's home, I dedicate myself fully to attending to the pet's needs. This includes providing consistent feedings, taking them out for walks and playtime, administering medications, and offering plenty of affection and enrichment. I'm also vigilant about maintaining a clean, safe, and stress-free environment by promptly addressing any messes, ensuring the home is secured, and minimizing disruptions. Constant communication with the pet owner is key. I provide detailed updates on the animal's wellbeing, appetite, activities, and any changes in behavior. And I'm always available to address any concerns or questions that may arise during my care. In-Home Boarding: When hosting pets in my own home, my approach is similar, but with the added benefit of being able to integrate the animal into my personal daily routines and environment. I have a spacious, pet-friendly home with a secure balcony, cozy bedding, and plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep them entertained. I start by thoroughly pet-proofing my living space to ensure it's a safe, comfortable haven for my furry guests. I also make any necessary adjustments, such as setting up a designated feeding and sleeping area, to help the pet feel at ease in their new surroundings. Throughout the stay, I provide the same attentive care as I would in the client's home - adhering to schedules, administering medications, and offering ample exercise, playtime, and affection. But I also have the advantage of being able to incorporate the pet into my regular activities, whether that's taking them along on my morning jog, including them in family mealtimes, or simply snuggling up together for a movie. Additionally, I'm able to provide more personalized experiences, such as teaching basic training commands, exposing them to new enrichment toys and activities, or arranging socialization playdates with my own (thoroughly vetted) pets.
