Grew up with several dogs and farm animals of my own, and cared for many different breeds and sizes. Coming from a military family, since the age of 8, I have cared and babysat my families, friends, and neighbors dogs and cats while away. With caring for my two family dogs, I have attended several dog training courses teaching the importance of basic commands, socializing them properly, getting them both the right amount of exercise daily. I love personally teaching and training animals with treat puzzles, hide and sniff, treat Kongs that require mental stimulation and thinking! I am also able to take your fur babies to dog parks, walks, runs, work and trails/hikes with permission! I have a ton of experience with pets in general, I have grown up with animals my whole life - then when I got a place of my own that’s when I realized I can help care for yours as well! Your pet will be in great hands. I have a four bedroom home with plenty of space for your pet(s) to explore and hang out, I have a park near my house, and a fenced yard as well. If you rather your pet get some one on one time that can be arranged too! I am reliable and flexible with scheduled and last minute plans! I absolutely love animals and I understand the trust and responsibility required to care for your fur babies. Health and welfare of your animals is of the utmost importance to me. I will make sure I meet all your pets needs. Your pet will come first! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

Kortney is an excellent sitter! My dog is 10 years old and has several quirks. Kortney made sure he was comfortable, loved and cared for as if he was her dog. She communicated daily and I was completely at ease while he was in her care. Will definitely book again.

We had to leave our pups for 10 days and even though we’d never worked with Kortney before, she made us feel very comfortable. Her home is clean and tidy and the dogs looked cozy in pics she sent us. Our dog Tito had a great first stay with Kortney. She was so friendly and kept to Tito’s normal schedule. We got a lot of updates and pictures and one happy pup when we picked him up.

A typical day
I love taking pets out for walks, runs, trails/hikes and work visits! With high energy pets, I understand the importance of exercise and mental physical stimulation. My home has a fenced yard, and also a large grass field/park near. I also live less than 5 minutes away from a huge park. I also love entertaining and training pets (experience with dogs mostly) using their meal times, treat puzzles, Kong treats, and hide and sniff!
