I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from playful puppies to calm senior dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and very detail-oriented, which means I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions exactly as requested. I also regularly care for my own golden retriever, handling daily walks, feeding, playtime, and routine care. This has given me hands-on experience with an active, friendly breed that needs consistent exercise and attention. I’m especially comfortable with daily walks, exercise, and providing calm companionship. I pay close attention to a dog’s body language and behavior, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. I understand that every dog is different and I take the time to adjust to their personality and needs. As a full-time University of Michigan student, I’m highly organized, reliable, and communicative. I show up on time, send regular updates, and treat every dog as if they were my own. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities.

Kori was a fantastic dog sitter. Our dogs were standoffish at first, but she was very patient and won them over. She took great care of both our dogs and our home, sent lots of pictures, and made us feel confident they were in good hands. Next time we go on vacation, we’ll definitely be reaching out to her first!

Kori was incredible! She took care of our 9 month old lab puppy for 9 days while we were out of the country with so much love and care. She knows dogs so well and our pup was so happy when she returned. Would absolutely rebook with Kori!
Kori was really great. She was super responsive and accommodating with dropping Nairobi off. I think she took Nairobi to the park with her dog to which was really nice.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I’m available before and after classes for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins, and I keep my schedule organized to ensure I can give each pet reliable, unrushed care. I am completely free on weekends, which allows me to be very flexible with timing for longer walks, multiple visits, or extended care. I prioritize consistency and clear communication, so pet owners always know when to expect updates and care.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as provided. I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free by maintaining their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m attentive to safety at all times—making sure leashes are secure, doors and gates are closed, and pets are supervised during walks and visits. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels, especially in new environments, and adjust care as needed. I also prioritize clear communication and trust. I provide regular updates and photos, and I always leave a client’s home clean, secure, and just as I found it.

A typical day
With your pet, I will make sure they are stimulated to their normal amount. I will make sure they are exercised properly, and have plenty of things to do while I watch them. I am also available to take them to dog parks and on car rides!
