Our background in shelter environments means we’re comfortable with shy animals, medical routines, and behavior‑sensitive pets. Animals have been part of our lives since childhood, so caring for cats, dogs, small animals, reptiles, and even the occasional farm animal feels natural and intuitive. We’re a small, experienced team (Kori (she/her) and her partner, Alex (he/him)) that values communication, safety, and consistency. Our Care Standards: -All communication must stay on Rover for everyone’s safety and clarity. -Cameras must be disclosed before booking. For privacy, we unplug indoor cameras during house‑sitting and plug them back in when we leave (if requested). -Full instructions, updated vet info, and emergency contacts must be provided. We follow what’s written; if something isn’t listed, we can’t guarantee it. -Please ensure adequate cleaning supplies and pet supplies are available. -Time changes must be submitted and approved through Rover. We strictly follow the times that are listed on Rover at the time of booking. We understand travel delays happen, and we are always willing to be flexible where we can. -Potty breaks are provided every 4–8 hours, depending on the day’s schedule. -We don’t offer constant care unless pre‑approved; constant‑care requests are billed hourly at $20 per hour. -Updates are sent 1–2 times per day, with more frequent communication if a situation calls for it. -Plant care is available for a fee of $20. We’re not plant experts, so please understand we cannot guarantee the status of your plants upon your return, but we promise your pets will be happy and healthy when you come home! -Homes must be clean and prepared before overnight stays. We cannot stay overnight in homes that are unsafe or not properly prepared. -Our cancellation policy is 7 days. By booking with us, you agree to these standards.
