Experienced Rover Sitter, New to Colorado! 🐾 Hi! I recently moved to Colorado after spending the past year caring for dogs through Rover in Utah. I previously offered boarding out of my home, but since my new condo doesn’t allow pets, I’m transitioning to house sitting so I can continue doing something I love while keeping your pets comfortable in their own home and routine. I’m currently taking a few months off work while studying for my professional safety certification, giving me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time at home with your pets. I’m experienced with different personalities and routines and am happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, meals, and companionship throughout the day. You can also expect plenty of photos and updates while you’re away! 🐶❤️

Safety and trust are my top values, and I don’t take it lightly when someone entrusts me with a pet who is so special and important to them. I care for them, like they were my own. I maintain a clean, secure environment and supervise pets closely while they’re in my care. I’m attentive to behavior cues, comfort levels, and any signs of stress, and I adjust care as needed. I communicate openly and consistently with owners so they feel confident their pet is well cared for.

Kori has become a dear friend of mine throughout the years of her watching my pets. She has not only watched our 4 year old goldendoodle, 2 cats but also our sons! That says a lot about a person when you can trust them with your own children. She had such a calming attentive nature about her making sure everyone is taken care of. She is a very active person always taking our dog on hikes and walks even when it is cold out!!! When he comes home he sleeps for days because she kept him so busy. In the past our dog has suffered from separation anxiety when leaving him but with Kori whenever we pull up to her place he gets so excited and is ready for the next adventure with her! We will always choose Kori when needing someone to take care of our pets.
Kori took wonderful care of my two cats for a week. She followed all directions perfectly and played with them so they didn’t have to be so isolated while I was gone. I highly recommend Kori if you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile for your fur babies!

I am studying from home as I take a few months off work, so I can provide plenty of time and attention to the pups I'm watching.

- In order to provide your pet with a safe and smooth transition into my home, I would like to know the following details: --Potty schedule and signals when they have to go outside. --Food allergies or food/treats you don’t want them to have. — can they physically jump into my jeep or do they need to be lifted? --Sleep/wake schedule & where do they sleep at night? --What helps calm them down and reduce stress when they’re anxious --Any known triggers (resource guarding, fear of certain genders, loud noises, etc.) --Favorite ways to play --Leash behaviors, are they off-leash reliable?
