Availability

I work from home several days a week. While the 2 cats come and go as they please, the 2 dogs, Yakul and Cooper, are my co-workers. I generally take the doggos for a walk in the afternoon, and then again in the evening.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a reasonably small-medium sized garden with plenty of green space to explore. It's more of a racetrack than circuit, but it's a zoomie-friendly space. Walls and fences separate our garden from neighbours. The fence could be jumped by a particularly leggy dog, but we haven't had any issues yet.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs, 2 cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Konrad T. would like to know about your pet

Our boys are super friendly and get along with 99.9% of the other dogs that they meet, but I would highly recommend a meet-and-greet before booking day care. It'll give us the chance to introduce the doggos to each other, check how they are with our cats and that we are both happy to proceed.

A typical day

I cannot guarantee that I will walk the dogs during day care, but I do spend time with the animals and provide them all-day garden access. They will gets treats, have play time and, hopefully, have a little nap together while I work from home.

Pet care experience

I grew up with a stupidly friendly Rottweiler, and plenty cats. While my family didn't get another dog after Anushka, we did rescue many stray cats, giving them the kind of life their domestic counterparts would have been jealous of. After years of living in rental properties, it was only upon buying our own house that we got the chance to get pets. We picked up sibling kittens, Billie and Weegie, from Glasgow soon after moving in. Then came Cooper, the single most handsome chocolate Labrador in the whole world, and Yakul, a Red Setter with no shortage of character. We raised and trained both dogs, with help from a local professional, to a respectable standard. Neither is going to win Crufts anytime soon, but they have decent recall. It's a bit of a bureaucratic inconvenience, but I tend to go by my middle name, Richard. Rest assured, the Konrad in my profile and the Richard in my testimonies/reviews are the same person, Konrad Richard Taeuber.

Excellent from Konrad again . Always keeps me informed on when he’s arriving . Very helpful . My dog had only been walked by myself so this is a new experience for her having someone else walk her and I trust Konrad to be able to cope with my puppy and her pulling etc .

Konrad was brilliant with Hamish. Turned up on time and took him on a brilliant adventure. He came back happy, relaxed and adventured out. Konrad stayed in touch throughout and gave me great update on Hamish.
