As the daughter of two veterinarians and the long-time owner of dogs, cats, rats, and toads, I have extensive experience caring for all kinds of animals. I am comfortable providing care to pets of all ages and abilities; I have cared for a two month old puppy who needed to be constantly watched as well as an 18 year old cat who needed daily medications! I also love being outside, hiking, and running, and am eager to take your pet with me if needed.

I understand that trusting another person in your space and with your pet may be daunting. I currently do not have any pets (my apartment doesn't allow them) so I am eager to treat yours as my own. I love to send regular updates about your pet and am excited to enrich their lives (and yours!) as much as possible :).

Konane did a fantastic job taking care of Bowie. From the start, communication was clear, timely, and thoughtful. She paid great attention to detail, making sure all of Bowie’s needs were met and going above and beyond to keep us updated. Any concerns or issues were addressed quickly and thoroughly, and she provided helpful feedback throughout. We felt totally at ease knowing Bowie was in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend!
I can’t recommend Konane enough! She took amazing care of our two dogs—attentive, communicative, responsible, and clearly a true animal lover. We came home to happy, relaxed pups and regular updates that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Phenomenal job from start to finish! We will definitely be using Konane regularly!
Konane is the best! All the picture updates were great and I never once worried about Henry or my house. She is prompt in responding to messages and thoughtful when sending great picture updates. My home was in great shape when I returned and Henry clearly had a great time with her 🐶💜
We can't recommend Konane highly enough. She's professional, compassionate, trustworthy, and great with animals. We had been concerned to leave our 19yr old cat for almost 2 weeks. We have a very sweet cat, but she has some health support needs, craves human interaction, & can be prone to anxiety. Konane was amazing. She was happy to stay at our house to provide an ongoing soothing presence. She put a lot of effort into keeping our cat calm - holding, petting, brushing, and spending time together in our cat's favorite sun room. Konane was patient with a senior food protocol and happy to give oral liquid supplements. She was very attentive & observant, noticing & sharing subtle changes in behavior or health status. We received ongoing updates via texts & photos. Our cat did so well in Konane's care that we arrived home to a calm & happy cat! She looked wonderful - had clearly flourished under Konane's care. Konane was also wonderful with our house, leaving as clean & tidy - if not cleaner - than we left it. She managed our mail, a special delivery, trash & recycling, and did a great job watering our plants (neither too little nor too much water 🙂). In short - a great pet and house sitter!
Konane did an amazing job house-sitting and taking care of my two cats, Bunny and Miso. She was attentive, reliable, and kept me updated throughout her stay. Both cats warmed up to her quickly, and it was clear they were well taken care of. I highly recommend Konane for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Schedule
I am an environmental engineering graduate student at UCLA and have a relatively flexible schedule as I conduct research. I am happy to work around your schedule and come up with a care schedule that fits both of our needs.
