Hello! My name is Kody but I go by Julian 😊 I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets, from big and little dogs and cats to hamsters, bunnies, and even a couple of hermit crabs! I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets while they’ve been away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Most recently, I cared for my roommate’s two senior cats, teaching me the importance of being patient, attentive, and consistent with older pets and their individual needs. I also became comfortable helping one of the cats with her asthma inhaler and other medical care. Whether I’m caring for a playful pup, a senior pet who needs a little extra attention, or a shy animal who takes time to warm up, I bring a gentle, attentive approach and treat every pet like they’re part of the family.

I have worked with Kody for about three years and have found him to be thoughtful, caring, and responsible. I have witnessed his love not only for his pets but also for all the pets he has been tasked with taking care of. I have personally asked him to take care of my cats while I was away for the weekend, and he was kind enough to keep me updated daily with what my cats were up to. Any person would be lucky to have Kody watch their animals.

Julian is a wonderful pet caregiver. I’ve trusted him wholeheartedly with my dog on several occasions, and he has always been attentive, kind, and genuinely enjoys their time together. To whom it may concern, Your furry family members are in very good hands. Julian is an attentive and caring person who treats animals with respect, dignity, and patience. He has baby sat my pets when I go away on trips numerous times and whenever I return, they never want to see him leave! He is one of those people who are able to create trust and bonds with animals in little to no time. He loves giving furry friends treats (respectful of dietary restrictions & health). Schedule
I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1–1.5 hour break around 1:30 PM each day. I work fully remotely on Wednesdays, which gives me additional flexibility for pet care. I’m happy to provide care before or after my workday, during my lunch break when timing allows, and on weekends. During the summer (June 15–August 15), I also have Fridays off and am available throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable, cared for, and on their normal routine.

I understand how important your pets are to you, and I never take the responsibility of caring for them lightly. I treat every pet with the same kindness, patience, and attention I would want someone to give my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, boundaries, and individual needs so they can feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications and special instructions, and I’m careful to maintain a clean and secure environment. My goal is always for your pet(s) to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and feeling loved while they’re in my care. Depending on their personality and energy level, a typical day might include going for walks, visiting the dog park, playing fetch, or playing with their favorite toys. I also love hiking and spending time at the park, so I’d be happy to bring along a dog who enjoys a little outdoor adventure! I’m also always happy to give plenty of cuddles, attention, and belly rubs. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy spending time relaxing together and keeping them company. My goal is to make sure every pet gets the exercise, playtime, attention, and affection that makes them happiest.
