Due to my other dog-related work, I am only available on weekdays, with the latest morning walk at 10:30 and afternoon availability after 14:30. If anyone has urgent needs outside these hours, feel free to contact me and I will consider it.

Good communication about your dog’s behavior is important to me, and I always listen carefully to your needs to ensure the best possible experience for both you and your dog.
A typical day
I prefer to take the dogs to one of the hiking trails in Bergen so they can enjoy a pleasant walk. I am happy to transport them in my car at no extra cost. My car is equipped with safe crates and is climate-controlled. I also have equipment in the car to clean the dogs when needed.

My name is Knut , and I was born in 1972. As a teenager, I suddenly found myself drawn into the world of dogs — from obedience training to long days spent outdoors with them. Since then, the way we train and understand dogs has changed a lot. For me, it has been an exciting journey, and I still find great joy in learning and deepening my understanding of how dogs feel and behave. I have a background in agriculture, education, and in kindergartens. I’ve worked in a guide dog kennel, and most recently, I worked full-time as a dog walker in Luxembourg. To me, dog walking is the perfect job. Everything I’ve done in the past feels like pieces of a puzzle falling into place, giving me the right tools to do my job well.

Marley har hatt en super tur i parken med Knut - fikk hjem en storfornøyd hund som gjerne tar en ny tur snart. Fin kommunikasjon, tydelig at Knut har god hundetekke og erfaring med hunder som har utfordringer i passeringssituasjoner.
Knut took excellent care of my old cat, so we were able to enjoy our vacation without having to worry. I hope he’ll be available again if we ever need a cat sitter.

Knut looked after and walked my dog Livy multiple times, and every experience was excellent. Livy is a very high-energy dog and can be a bit much for some people, but she and Knut clicked immediately. He clearly understands dogs and knew exactly how to handle her energy, set boundaries, and calm her down when needed. Livy absolutely loved him and always came back happy and relaxed after their walks. Knut is confident, patient, and genuinely great with dogs. On top of that, he’s just a genuinely nice guy, which is always a plus. If Knut ever came back to the Netherlands, he would be my go-to dog walker without question, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and experienced ☺️
