ABOUT ME: I am a certified animal trainer and certified animal behavior specialist with an extensive animal career background in animal care, adoptions and training from both the San Diego Humane Society and also from my past position as a General Manager of large dog daycare and boarding facility. I have managed dog playgroups of over 50 dogs at a time and have had over 100+ in my care at the boarding facility. Two years ago, I chose to scale that down a bit and continue my animal care on a smaller scale in my own home.

Information KMK would like to know about your pet
We would like to know if they are friendly and social with other dogs or if they need their own space and yard at my house, which can be provided. We would like to know they are fully vaccinated, currently on flea meds and their primary veterinarian's name and contact info. We would also like to know if they are good on leash, are shy or outgoing and if they need training. We always like to know what the dog does in his/her own home when the pet parents are not home...are they free-roam, are they crate trained, are the gated in a specific area of the house?
A typical day
We truly love dogs and happily accept all pups that are a good fit for us and the other pups in our care. With our years of experience, we can specialize in senior pets and their needs, with more frequent potty breaks, medications, age appropriate dogs in the home, non-slip surfaces and a quiet, serene environment where we keep stress levels to a minimum to ensure they are comfortable in our home while pet parents are away.

I love my dogs and I will love yours too! I am an experienced animal expert. I don’t just think animals are cute and cuddly…which they ALL are…but I understand and connect with them, I can read their body language, I know when to go slow and give them some space and I can visually see when they are relaxing and trusting me.

Our standard poodle tends to get stressed out when with sitters and usually takes some time to adjust to being back home. So glad we found KMK, she treated our dog like family and it was the first time in years that our dog didn't seem stressed when we picked her up.
Always a great stay for Remi. Awesome people also, you couldn’t ask for anything better !!
