I have a generally opem schedule since I have the summer off. I do have some commitments Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Other than that, I don't have a fixed schedule and I can work on my projects remotely.

I have a cat who's ten years old. I don't plan on boarding animals in my home, as it would probably be stressful for both our animals. However, when I volunteered for Courageous Cats, they had no physical location so cat enclosures would be set up at different pet stores across New Hyde Park and surrounding areas. I would travel to clean and maintain these enclosures during volunteering, so I can travel to your home to care for your animals.

I have dealt with all sorts of dogs and cats while petsitting for Rover, so I am able to adapt to different needs. If your pet is very afraid of strangers, please book an hour for the first visit so I have time to help them adjust to my presence. If they have medical issues, I have administered pills before and but I don't have training to handle more complex issues.
A typical day
I love walking and I know the neighborhood very well, so I'll take your dog on different routes to keep things interesting. I'll follow their lead, whether they're more high energy and enjoy brisk walks or prefer more calmer, leisurely walks, allowing them to sniff freely to keep them mentally stimulated.

I am a member of Pet Sitters International. Before that, I volunteered with Courageous Cats for two years, helping care for shelter cats by cleaning their enclosures, changing their litter & water, and feeding them.

Kloe has watched my two cats quite a few times now and she always does an excellent job! I have two shy boys and she always takes her time to get them to eat and give them some cuddles. She’s always reliable and never has trouble giving one of my cats his daily medicine! Highly recommend!
