Safety, trust & environment

I live in a pet friendly apartment where they can freely roam. I have one Husky-Mix at home who can keep your fur baby company and entertained as well! If needed I do have a crate for any dog up to 100lbs, a fenced patio for them to relax in and/or any emergency potty breaks (with close supervision), and multiple dog beds for them to choose from. Since I already have one dog at home, I prefer to host one dog at a time to ensure proper attention, care, safety and needs of your pup are closely prioritized and are in a comfortable environment. As well my dog understands cues from other dogs and will give space as needed -- she can get very vocal but is very neutral at home! BUT, if you happen to own 2 dogs at the same time, I'm flexible and willing to open my home for them 🙂.

Information Klenalyn W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know any important routines and/or medications your pup may need during the stay. As well let me know if there are specific behaviours and boundaries I should take account for during the care of your pup, ie. what level is your dog's separation anxiety, resource guarding aggression, disabilities etc. Letting me know any particular important information regarding your fur baby is important to me as I would rather set them up for success and continue to practice safety for everyone.

A typical day

Depending on your dog's energy levels: I like to start the day off with getting to know me and the new space! Getting them to sniff around first and get comfortable so they can feel at ease with me. Then we can take leisurely stroll by taking our time to sniff some more and observe around the neighborhood. There will be plenty of short walks for those potty breaks (just around the block). And couple long walks to explore the neighborhood some more and larger grass areas to sniff about! I encourage zoomies as they are a pure sign of comfort and happiness! I also like to let them relax and nap as much as they need to so they can feel comfortable in the new space. I have extra toys and balls that we can play fetch with, and of course dedicated time to practice commands and tricks if needed. I will always update with photos and videos to make sure you're still aware of your dog's wonderful day!

Reliable Care For Your Fur Baby!

Pet care experience

Hi there! It's nice to meet you, I'm Klen. I'm an experienced pet caregiver currently residing in the Burquitlam area. I have hands on experience for dogs of any age and size, no matter the personality, I'd love to get to know them! Friends and family have always asked me to look after their fur babies and I've always happily agreed to help/care for them, so I figured why not create more opportunities for new future dogs to get the attention and care they need. I'm comfortable with high energy dogs (I have one myself, her name is Sugar!), puppies and senior dogs. I've dealt with dogs up to 100lbs, even dogs with anxiety (my dog was a rescue with anxiety before). I'm dedicated to take my time learning body cues for each dog since they all come with different personalities and walks of life (pun intended). I genuinely do my best to set them up for success and to feel comfortable and safe!

My dog always has a great time with Klen and her dog Sugar! My boy is quite the big fella who also has anxiety, so having someone as confident and safe like Klen to look after my sweet boy relieves a tremendous amount of stress. If I ever need someone to watch over my furbaby where I’m not able to, I can absolutely count on Klen!

Klenalyn was an absolute lifesaver for Maya and I during a last-minute trip out of the city. From the very first message, her communication was incredibly quick and professional, which was such a relief given the short notice. She followed every feeding and care instruction to the tea, and the consistent photo updates she sent really helped put my mind at ease while I was away. It's clear that Klenalyn has a natural way with animals; she didn't just watch Maya, she truly took ownership of her well-being. Maya came home happy, healthy, and completely relaxed, which is the best feedback a dog owner could ask for. I would highly recommend Klenalyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter, and I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you again for everything!

Klenalyn has been such a great help with my dog, Mocha. He’s always enjoyed her company, and I never have to worry when leaving him in her care. She’s very attentive to each dog’s needs whether it’s giving them enough playtime or making sure they get proper rest. She’s also helped correct some of Mocha’s behaviour, which has made a huge difference for me. I really appreciate the care and effort she puts in. Thank you for all your help, Klenalyn!

Klen is my go to person to care for my dog! He has anxiety and some dog aggression, so he isn't the easiest but she takes care of him so well. He loves staying with her, and her dog Sugar is probably his best friend. I would trust Klen with any dog, for any amount of time!
