Your Pup or Kitty’s New Best Friend
Animals have always been a part of my life since I was very little, I even remember pretending to ‘babysit’ our dog when I was 5 like I was their parent! And now as an adult my own dog Rainbow is as close to a son as I could have, and I love taking care of him. If you book me I will be there *for* your pet, to play with them, cuddle them, make sure they’re safe and fed, and have everything they need (as well as anything I can do for you as their owner to provide peace of mind). I love working with both people and animals, service is a core value of mine, and I would be honored to take care of your beloved dogs or cats. I love dogs and cats just as much as the other so I can work with anyone. :)

Schedule
Taking care of my dog Rainbow is a daily part of my life, walking him every day at our favorite parks for example. I love to make sure he has toys and when I leave for my part time job I always leave on ‘dog TV’ on Youtube for him. I currently work part time as a barista - but Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays I am always free. Any other day of the week just check in with me to see my availability. I am flexible to make sure everyone’s needs are met. 🤍

Safety, trust & environment
Pets communicate non-verbally, and I love being able to understand what they’re ‘saying’ by paying attention to body language and behavior. A lot of people tell me that I have a very calming presence/voice and animals seem to feel safe with me too. I never let my dog run without a lead or leash for his safety, and I try to get him nice treats and food made with real meats and good ingredients. I love caretaking and I’m always thinking of what I can do to make my dogs days happy and enjoyable.

A typical day
I like to take dogs I watch to some of my special nature spots around Anderson like the Rangeline Nature Preserve or Camp Chesterfield - both places are relatively private with many, many unique smells for the dogs to enjoy:) That’s like TV for them so I love getting my dogs a variety of sensory experiences. Lots of pets and cuddles for the dogs who have that kind of personality. More playtime and longer walks for my bright and active dogs.
