I’ve been around animals my whole life, and truly believe they are part of the family, and should be treated as such. Growing up, I spent most of the time at the barn with horses, and in the home I had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, chickens, a turtle, tortoise, lizard, and even a tarantula! I started pet sitting during university, and when I moved into my own place I started fostering dogs with a local rescue. Through my fostering journey I have gained experience with training, giving medicine, and working with reactive dogs - just let me know in your booking request if any of this is required. I do not always show myself as available, but I am open to house sitting occasionally. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and open to caring for pets with behavioural issues. I am also very experienced with horses & comfortable with farm animals.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I have one large crate with a divider to fit most sized dogs if needed. My yard is not fenced, but it is big! Perfect for a quiet walk and playing or lounging on a secure long line. I have a baby gate to keep dogs out of the foyer, so there is no risk of escaping. For walks, I live on a quiet street and have access to trails. I am observant and very attentive to dogs and cats. So happy to play or cuddle depending on their personality. I do have a male dog and cat (occasionally multiple cats, as I foster) in my home who both love other dogs. If your dog doesn't love the cats, they can easily be separated. My dog can read the room well and matches the vibe of his friends - he is happy to chill or play all day. If I am in your home, I will abide by all of your rules. Let me know if you need me to water plants, bring in the mail, or bring the garbage bins to/from the curb. And to keep your mind at ease - I'll provide lots of pictures and videos!

Kitt is a nice and responsible person whom we've booked twice now to look after our two cats. Unfortunately they are both afraid of everyone but us so she can't interact with them, but she's taken good care of them and kept them alive, as well as helping out with little things like watering plants.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Kitt was wonderful with both Archer and me - his anxious owner. I’d never left him with a pet sitter before and I was quite concerned. I asked her to come to our hotel to watch him in our suite. While I was out dining, she sent me a message to let me know what they were doing and even sent some pics for me. We had her sitting services again the next day and my dog immediately went to her with his tail wagging with happiness. I would highly recommend Kitt and I’m already making arrangements to see have her dog-sit the next time I’m in Niagara on the Lake, but will drop him at her home since there’s no hotel booked this time.
Kitt is excellent with our Chocolate Lab Chloe! It is obvious she has a lot of experience with dogs because her calm energy is reflected on Chloe. Chloe is very high energy and generally over the top excited when she sees people. But Kitts calm, professional, but very loving enery calms her...We noticed it right away, which is great! Chloe liked her immediately. We adore our girl and feel she's in safe, experienced hands with Kitt. We highly recommend her!
There is no one better-suited to watch over your beloved pet. Kitt is careful, thoughtful, loving, and fun with our dog Tucker any time he is staying with her. She makes sure he is well-exercised, send us pics of all the stuff he gets up to, and maintains all of our training and habits with him while we are away. We can relax knowing he is in the best hands!
Absolutely amazing with animals (and people lol). Her love of animals and her incredibly organized manner make her an amazing option to care for really any type of pet. Kitt has selflessly cared for multiple foster dogs, providing them with the love and skills to help find their forever homes. Schedule
As a teacher, I can be flexible with my work in the summer months. I do work in food & beverage, but shifts are not very long. I am an active person, so I can guarantee some good long walks and hikes for your dog! Or, a good snuggle and play time for your cat!
