Kit Yung can care for
Availability
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as a devoted cat parent. I’m used to working around feeding schedules, administering medication, and giving each cat individual attention throughout the day. I offer flexible availability for 1–2 visits per day. Whether it's early mornings or evenings, I make sure your cat’s needs are met consistently and lovingly, just as I do for my own three cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I only provide pet care in the pet owner's home, as I believe cats feel most secure and relaxed in their own familiar environment. I always take time during the first meet-and-greet to understand your cat’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs, so I can follow your instructions closely and maintain consistency while you’re away. I handle each visit with care and respect—making sure your cat is safe, fed, and happy, while also keeping your home tidy and secure. I double-check doors, windows, litter trays, and feeding areas every visit. You’ll receive regular updates with photos or videos, so you’ll know exactly how your furry family member is doing. My goal is to build trust—with you, and with your cat—by being reliable, communicative, and treating your pet like my own.
Information Kit Yung Y. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your cat, I’d love to know about their daily routine, personality, and any quirks they may have. Are they shy or sociable? Do they enjoy being brushed or prefer space? Knowing their likes, dislikes, and favourite toys helps me connect with them quickly and respectfully. It’s also important for me to know about any medical conditions, medications (including dosage and timing), allergies, or special dietary needs. If your cat has specific litter box habits or hiding spots, or tends to get nervous during certain times (e.g. fireworks or visitors), that’s helpful too. Lastly, please let me know your preferred way of receiving updates, emergency contact details, and anything else that helps me care for your cat exactly the way you would.
A typical day
A typical visit starts with a warm hello and a gentle check-in to see how your cat is doing. I begin by serving fresh food and water, cleaning the litter trays, and tidying up any mess. If your cat enjoys company, I’ll stay for cuddles, playtime with their favourite toys, or just quiet companionship—whatever makes them feel most comfortable. Many cats love chasing wand toys, batting balls around, or simply lounging in a sunny spot while I sit nearby. Some of my regulars even bring me toys they want me to “save” from their water bowls—one of their favourite games! I follow your cat’s usual routine to keep their day predictable and stress-free. Every visit ends with a quick check to make sure everything is safe and secure at home, and I send you an update with photos or videos so you can see how happy and relaxed your cat is.

Cat care experience
What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and deep empathy as a cat parent of three adopted cats, each with their own needs and personalities. One of my cats has chronic kidney disease, and I have experience giving subcutaneous fluid injections, oral medications, and managing special diets. I’ve also cared for a cat with cancer, so I understand how to support cats with complex or delicate medical needs with patience and care. Beyond medical care, I truly understand feline behavior—from shy rescue kitties to bold and playful ones. I’m confident in maintaining litter hygiene, and giving each cat the right balance of play, affection, and space. I always treat every cat like a family member, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. That’s why I care for your cat with the same love and attentiveness I give my own.
Reviews

We've used Kit for three holidays now and it's no exaggeration to say that I can't even imagine how any other cat-sitter could be better! For each and every visit she sends an update that is usually one full phone screen of text that tells us what the cats were doing when she arrived, what and how much food they ate and what they were doing when she left! This always comes with lots of photos and videos of her giving time and attention to the cats to make sure that they're happy. Part of our daily routine on holiday now is sitting on a balcony somewhere reading Kit's updates and just being able to relax completely knowing that our fur-babies are safe and happy and we can't thank her enough for that 😊
