Animals are fantastic!
—Please schedule a meet and greet with me at least a day in advance (I’m flexible), unless you have booked me before, so that we both can ensure that your pet and I are the right fit— Throughout my undergraduate career, I have volunteered at shelters, spay, and neuter clinics, and have worked with livestock animals via my courses. I started walking dogs and house sitting around my junior year. After graduating in 2019, I continued working as a veterinary assistant for a year, learning medical terminology and how to administer injections, perform venipuncture, and also administer medications orally just to name a few. I love playing any games your dog enjoys and teaching them tricks! Bigger dogs are a bit harder for me, the largest I’ve experienced are black labs, pitbull mixes, German shepherds, Great Danes, and my brother’s Texas heeler! I was working as a PCR laboratory technician, where we worked with animal samples such as fecal matter, urine, and blood to name a few. I was responsible for preparing and extracting samples so that they can go through the analysis and we can provide test results to veterinarians so that they are able to come up with a diagnosis. I wanted a bit more laboratory experience, but since I don't get my fair share of animals as I did at my old job, I would love to help you care for your pets! I am currently working for the State and am interested in caring for your fur babies! Message me with any questions and requests to book! When I have gone over to my client’s homes, I usually just hang out and watch tv. Sometimes I’ll go to the couch or go outside and just hang out with the dogs. Whenever I leave the house I’m staying at, I make sure that the bedsheets are clean and the house is tidy. I like to leave a place clean like I found it :).

Kirthi was an amazing dog sitter for my two senior dogs. As senior dogs, they require extra attention, medication, and special care. Kirthi took care of all of this with ease. We felt very comfortable leaving them in her great hands. Kirthi went above and beyond during her stay! She did extra cleaning and sent lots of pictures. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kirthi again in the future!
Kirthi was wonderful! She took great care of our pets and her communication was excellent. We got daily updates and pictures, which made us feel so much more at ease during our time away from our fur-family. She was respectful of our home and went above and beyond what was asked of her. We came home to very happy pets and are very grateful!
Kirthi was great with our 2 pups. She gave us consistent updates while we were gone and our dogs loved her. Her drops in were timely and we could relax knowing our dogs were in good hands. We will be using her services again and strongly recommend her!
Kirthi did an exceptional job walking my fur not so little fur baby. This was my 1st time using Rover for 6 days straight, x2/day per walks while I was on a vacation trip during Holiday season. Finding someone to visit your home and take a good care of your pet with complete trust could be difficult. From the day Kirthi met my 74 lbs pitbul and me to the time I returned from vacation, I had peace, confidence and great amount of regard for the care Kirthi gave to my dog. She sent a complete recap of each walk, a photo of my pup- I didn't even feel a thousand miles away from him, followed all instructions I left and more. She is very prompt, very kind and caring. If you are looking for a responsible dog walker whom you could trust with your fur baby and home, Kirthi is the one. I beyond recommend.
When Kirthi came for her initial “meet and greet” the first thing she did was crouch down and let our dogs howl and lick her. We knew we had a keeper! We love having Kirthi stay with our pups. She has vet tech experience and is able to give our pup his twice daily insulin shots (and is very precise with her 12-hour shot spacing.) She always cleans up after herself and leaves the house as she found it (something that’s important to me!)
Kirthi, oh my goodness. I’ve had many sitters from Rover in the past, but definitely felt most comfortable with Kirthi dropping in to see my cats. I appreciated the check-in before I left and then the attention to detail each day while I was gone. I received reports about the cats’ food, water, activities, etc. and even a couple pictures. I definitely will be asking Kirthi to keep an eye on my kitties next time I travel.

A typical day
With the cute little corgi I walk, we go to the park nearby his and my place. He loves to stop and smell everything! We also play tug-of-war with his favorite toys and he gets lots of pets :).
