Dedicating my time to animals - whether that be my own, fostering, volunteering with various rescues, or caring for your pets! Several years of experience providing pet care services, I have been providing services on Rover since 2021. Insured. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I can’t imagine it any other way. Growing up I was involved in caring for my family pets, and now I have a lovely lab of my own, Luna, as well as two cats, Jackson, and Snickers - my first and only foster fail. I’ve had experience caring for a variety of furry friends, including all sizes - small to extra large, puppies and kittens, high-energy breeds, shy pets, anxious and reactive dogs, and more. I’m familiar with both dog and cat body language. I have had experience, and am comfortable providing pills and oral medication, and injections to both dogs and cats. I am happy to work with your pet to ensure they are comfortable and content, I’m very patient and understand that some animals take more time to warm up. I am also happy to continue working on already established trainings you do with your pup. Currently, I primarily foster cats and kittens, although I have previously fostered under-socialized, more behaviourally challenged large breed puppies. *I kindly ask that there is some flexibility in terms of timing of drop in visits, if possible*. Please let me know your ideal timeframe for visits (ie. between 5pm-7pm). I understand that that is not always possible, and if your pet requires care at a specific time due to medication or any other reasons, please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate that, OR will let you know if I am unable to accommodate due to other commitments. Please note, additional rates may apply based on the care requirements of your pets - if your pet cannot be alone for more than 4 hours or requires constant care, if timings for visits/meals are strict, if you are out of my general service area, etc. If you have any questions regarding my services, rates, or any specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out, I am very happy to discuss further!

I will treat your pets as if they were my own, with love and care. I always follow the care instructions you have provided for your fur babies as best as I can in regards to mealtimes, exercise, and general needs.

We had such a great experience with Kirstyn. She went above and beyond to care for our cat while we were on holidays. He loved her so much that showed off his zoomies while she was here. This was our first time using a pet sitter, and she really exceeded our expectations. We are forever grateful.
Kirstyn was absolutely amazing! She arrived right on time and actually spent even more time with my cats than expected. She went above and beyond by cleaning the litter boxes, washing their bowls, and even taking out the soiled litter. Most importantly, she genuinely cared for my two cats and showered them with love, they absolutely fell in love with her! It’s clear that she’s reliable, compassionate, and such a genuinely kind person. I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in her care. I highly recommend Kirstyn to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter!

Schedule
I work remotely which allows me more flexibility. On weekdays, I am available mornings before 9am, and evenings after 5pm, as well as an hour slot mid-day. I have open availability on weekends. In terms of house sitting - I can be at your home from the evening until the morning. I may work from your home for part of the day, or check in for a potty break/visit mid-day. However, please keep in mind I do have to step away from time to time to provide services to other clients, and to visit my own pets.

- The more I know, the better! Depending on the kind of animal & which service you are looking to book.. Please tell me about your fur babies, what their normal routine and care looks like, if they are up to date on vaccines, vet information, emergency contact information, if your fur baby has any health concerns to be aware of, if they have any behavioural concerns that I should know of, any allergies or things they should not have, any cue words, any training currently being worked on that you would like me to continue, if they are or are not ok with other animals, children, strangers; are they crated when alone or do they free roam, do they try and door dash when you come in/out, meal information including amounts and a general timeframe.
