Safety, trust & environment

We have a fenced in back garden with grass, patio and stones. A decent sized house with a safety gate option if dogs are not allowed to use the stairs for any reason. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac. Lots of access to walks including ham hill country park and local trails. We own a van with ample space for crates and owners chosen way for dogs to travel.

Very active household and we love dogs!

Pet care experience

We have previously had a black lab, golden retriever and a cockapoo, have trained from pups and have a fox red lab who comes to stay. Whilst we are desperate to welcome another dog of our own into life, travel abroad means that we cannot commit right now. The solution is to take our enjoyment out of looking after other peoples dogs! We are both in the business of sport and work from home so we are happy to look after dogs that want the quieter life at home as one of us is always here, but we are also fine to take on the energetic breeds that might want to try and out run us on the trails running.

Communication was good throughout the stay, and it was clear he was in safe, attentive hands. I felt completely comfortable leaving him, and Obi seemed content and settled when I picked him up. I’d happily book again.

Kirsty and her family treated Albus as if he were their own. He was spoilt with plenty of cuddles and love and even came home with a brand new ball which he hasnt put down yet! They put my mind at rest leaving Albus. I would definately recommend them to anyone and would be more than happy to book Albus woth them again! It was lovely seeing Albus so settled! X

Bruce had the most wonderful time with Kirsty and her family. We received regular updates and photos which showed him having great walks and being shown lots of love. He seemed to be so settled and I would not hesitate in recommending Kirsty to look after your beloved pooch. Bruce loves his second family and that makes us very happy knowing he is in safe hands.

Lovely person and was absolutely fantastic with my dog. Great communication throughout his stay with her, really put me at ease as I was a bit nervous leaving him. Would rebook and recommend.
