Please note I can currently only accommodate one overnight sit per month, so my diary fills up quite quickly! I’ve had pets in my family my entire life - mostly dogs, some rabbits and the occasional cat. Friends and family have been trusting me to take care of their pets for around the past twelve years, and in the last year or so this has grown through recommendations, so much so that I have now started offering my services full time. I’m simply an animal lover looking to make a bit of extra money. I’m very comfortable around both dogs and cats, and studied animal care at college so have a background knowledge of first aid, body language etc. I am now a certified dig first aider thanks to Dog First Aid Hertfordshire.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to sit at the owners home, to ensure that the pet feels calm and safe in their own space. Of course, I like to meet pets first with owners present so that I’m not a stranger when it comes to sitting, this can be discussed/planned as and when needed.
Ratings and reviews
My dogs are both on the older side and it is always a worry leaving them, Kirsty is very good at adapting to what suits the dogs and keeps us updated which is comforting for us. Both dogs really happy when we got home. Would definitely recommend Kirsty
Kirsty came and sat with our dogs for a few hours and gave them their dinner. It was too hot for a walk so Kirsty gave them a cooling lick mat and kept them calm. They are both older dogs so it is really comforting knowing someone is keeping them company and looking out for them. Photos and updates were sent and the dogs seemed very relaxed. The house was exactly as we left it, everything washed up and tidied away. Would definitely recommend Kirsty, and look forward to her coming again.
Kirsty is absolutely fabulous! We have a busy household with lots of animals and she handled it all with ease. The dogs adored her, especially our very nervous tamaskan - he doesn't take easily to people but he fell in love with Kirsty instantly. This was great for us, and her calm and confident presence meant we could relax and enjoy our time away without worrying about anyone or anything back at home. We returned to a pristine home (thank you so much for this xx) and a really happy, well-looked after crew. Who could ask for more! Thank you so much Kirsty, you did a wonderful job.
We loved Kirsty and so did our cats! She’s been lovely with the cats and looked after them really well. We kept getting daily updates with photos and videos which was nice and kept us at peace as well. We will definitely rebook Kirsty if she’s available for us. ☺️

Kirsty was absolutely fab - great communication, very friendly and our pup Rizzo loved her. Kirsty sent us lots of pictures and left our house spick and span. We felt totally at ease knowing that Rizzo was in such good hands - thanks Kirsty!

Schedule
I am self employed and work from home, so with a little notice I can be very flexible when it comes to pet care and can fit my schedule around what you need. For longer house sits, I’ll bring my laptop and work from there!
