I’ve been around and caring for dogs since I was 7 years old, so looking after dogs has always been a big part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with them and making sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for dogs professionally in a work setting as I have been responsible for leading dog walking activities for children and families. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and needs, and I understand that every dog has their own routine and preferences. Whether your dog loves long walks and playing, or prefers plenty of cuddles and relaxing at home, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they need. I’m responsible, patient and caring, and I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in safe hands, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure they’re well looked after while you’re away. 🐾❤️

Kirsty has looked after my dog loads of times and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. She is always happy to have him and he absolutely loves going to stay with her and gets so excited to see her ❤️ she takes him on nice big walks and out to different places, gives him lots of attention and cuddles, and takes really good care of him. I always know he’s in safe hands with Kirsty and i couldn’t think of anyone better to look after my dog ❤️

Schedule
I currently have some extra flexibility during the week and I’m available for pet care throughout the day on many weekdays. I’m also available for evening and weekend bookings, which I can continue to offer around my usual working hours. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine wherever possible and can discuss specific days and times to find something that works for both of us. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden at home and regularly look after friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I’m used to having dogs in my home and making sure they are comfortable and well cared for. I don’t currently have any pets living in my home, so your dog can have my full attention without having to share the space with another resident pet. I’ll always follow your instructions and your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication if required, and any other individual needs. When caring for a pet in their own home, I’ll treat their space with the same respect as I would my own and make sure they feel safe, settled and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know they’re happy while you’re away. ❤️🐶
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I like to work around their usual routine and what they enjoy most. A typical day would include plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles and big walks (or a few shorter walks depending on the dog). I love taking dogs out to explore nice places, whether that’s a local walk, a park or somewhere new to sniff and explore. If they’re more of a homebody, we can have a chilled day at home with plenty of play and cuddles instead. I’ll always make sure they get lots of love and attention and aren’t just left to their own devices.

- I’d love to know anything that will help me understand your dog and make them feel comfortable, including their usual routine, feeding times, favourite activities, likes and dislikes, and anything they’re nervous or unsure about. It’s also helpful to know about their walking habits, recall, behaviour around other dogs or people, and any medication or special care they need. Most importantly, just let me know anything you think I should be aware of - every dog is different and I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible 🥰🐾
