As a stay-at-home homeschool mom, I have a flexible daily routine that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Caring for animals is already a natural part of my everyday life, and I’m used to managing feeding schedules, playtime, walks, medication, and check-ins consistently and reliably. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m also able to do drop-in visits throughout the day, which helps pets stay on their normal routine and receive regular attention while their owners are away.

I currently offer care in my client’s home through drop-in visits and check-ins. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, walks, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. Because I’m a stay-at-home homeschool mom with a flexible schedule, I’m able to do drop-ins throughout the day to make sure pets are well cared for and not left alone too long. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and safe while they’re away.

I love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine ahead of time so I can make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I would appreciate knowing about feeding schedules, energy level, favorite activities, medical needs, training, triggers/fears, if they are allowed on furniture, emergency/vet information, and anything else that helps me give them the best care possible.
A typical day
I like to make every pet’s time away from mom and/or dad feel fun, relaxing, and personalized to them. That can mean walks, fetch, playtime, sniff adventures, puzzle toys, or just lots of cuddles and couch time. I pay attention to each pet’s personality and energy level so they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while they’re with me.

I have lifelong experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, goats, horses, and chickens. I grew up around animals and currently care for my own goats, dogs, and cat. I’m very comfortable handling pets with different personalities and needs. I understand the importance of being dependable, responsible, and trustworthy. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, whether that means caring for an energetic puppy or giving extra attention to senior pets.

We have a horse boarding business with 15 horses. Kristen has fed for us several times. It's nice to leave with a piece of mine if anything looks out of place she will call us which we like. She gets along great with the horses. And her son is a big help too.
I've been using Kirstin for all my pet related needs (mostly dogs cats and the occasional goats) for over 8 years now. She's great. So loving patient and kind, she's a godsend. I even use her to take care of my real kids. 😂😂
