I have a way with dogs and will happily escort your pup on walks, hikes and can board them in my home which is dog friendly with a large back yard for play. I've lived in Moab and roamed the trails for over 30 years with canine companions of all types including puppies and seniors and understand the needs of all ages of dogs. I do now have a year old female dog who loves meeting new dogs and isn't overly energetic but rather more submissive than dominant with others. I can also help with basic training using both voice and hand commands.

Kirstin did an awesome job watching our dogs while we played around Moab. She took them on walks and made sure they had fun and were safe while in her care. This was our second time booking with Kirstin and we will come back again.
Kirstin was great! The was able to accommodate our last minute request and took excellent care of our furbaby. She was great with Juliette, she took her for walks which she really loved. I highly recommend Kirstin!

Kirsten was kind and flexible in trying to accommodate our changing schedule. Unfortunately our plans didn’t line up so she never sat for us but when I return to Moab I will definitely schedule with her while we do our hiking.
We left our newly adopted dog with Kirstin while we spent an evening hiking - I was a little nervous since it was our first time leaving her with a sitter and couldn’t have gone better! Kirstin was super kind and we came back to a super happy dog 😊

Schedule
i have recently transitioned from my long-time career job to a very part-time gig and have plenty of time and energy to work with dogs and their people. Many days I can be available last minute but advance notice is preferred.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs need time to adjust to a new environment or person and I work with them to ease any anxiety then progress from there to trust and adventure. Plenty of exercise geared to their fitness level is key to their wellbeing as well as structured play. Dogs like routine so I try to match what they are used to as much as possible.
