Safety, trust & environment

All of my roommates love dogs and my living room would be great for having pets play. There is a large green field outside of my apartment as well!

As Kirsti's roommate for the past four years and teammate for the past five, I know Kirsti will be able to take care of your dog and here are a couple reasons why you should trust her with them: 1. Time-Management: Kirsti is a retired D1 Stanford swimmer. She studied bioengineering while juggling homework, practice, and traveling for competition. She is prompt, efficient, and multi-tasks like a champ. If she can handle that, I assure you that you can trust she will be on time with all your doggy needs. 2. Love for Activity/Outside: Kirsti LOVES the outdoors and physical activity. When she is not studying, you can find her hiking, swimming, running, working out, tanning, etc. If your dog needs outside activity and exercise, she is your girl. Just to prove how much she loves the outdoors: she has done not one but two NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) trips. The first was a two-week snow skiing backpacking trip through the snowy Montana mountains and the second a month-long backpacking hiking trip through New Zealand. She also just came back from a solo backpacking trip in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. These experiences have made her equipped to handle any adventure (and also any emergency). 3. Dog Momma: She is also the definition of a dog mom. Recently, she told me that her iPhone tags and groups her dog as a category under people because she has that many photos of them together (and boy is he cute!). She may not love your dog as much as she loves her own dog (but that's reasonable because one cannot love another child more than your own), however, she will love it at a very close second. 4. Thoughtfulness: Kirsti is one of those people that notices the little things. She can pick up on bad moods, sickness, happiness, likes, dislikes, habits, etc and she tailors her actions to you. When I have a bad day, I return to little Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered pretzels on my desk. When I have a big event coming up that I am nervous for, an encouraging card is waiting for me in my suitcase. Kirsti will bring that attentiveness to your needs and your dog. I can truly testify that Kirsti would make the best pet caregiver, and I hope that you try her out!
