Will love your dog like my own!!

Growing up, my friends always called me the dog whisperer because wherever I went, the dogs would just flock to me (and I to them). I’d been bugging my husband Corey to let me get another dog but the timing just wasn’t right. So in July of 2019, he encouraged me to sign up to become a Rover sitter and here I am! We started out in Illinois and moved to California in March, 2020. In August, 2023 we relocated to Louisiana! We have 2 kids, both boys - ages 4 and 1 (as of Sep. 2025) and they LOVE when dogs sleep over. I work from home so I can guarantee lots of attention for your pup! We live in a house with lots of space for running around and we have a partially fenced yard - it’s fenced in the front for safety but we have a woodsy backyard and we chose not to fence it in because our dog loves to explore. The back is completely away from traffic but if your dog is known to run away, we will of course take extra precautions during potty breaks. Our dog Whiskey is our child and we would expect only the best care for him so that’s the kind of care we plan on providing for your pup as well! My husband and I are very active so you can be assured that your dog will still get several walks every day in addition to so much play time, petting and love! We are very easy-going and accommodating so we will work with you to make sure you have full peace of mind while your dog is in our care! And I will send tons of pictures during your dog’s stay! All that being said, it would be an absolute honor to care for your dog while you’re away, and I promise you will not regret it! Thanks! Kirsten and Corey

Could not ask for anyone or anything nicer or better. From the photos, Jazz was well cared for and fit right in with the family, including the resident dog. Makes us want to take another trip just to have Jazz stay with Kirsten again!

Kirsten was AMAZING with our sweet boy TBuddy. He wasn’t feeling very well and she updated me several times a day on his care. She has such a kind and loving heart and it def showed. Tbuddy had a great visit and we will be using her again. You should as well! Emily Kercheval

At night, your pup will sleep in our bedroom on one of our dog Whiskey’s spare beds (unless your dog typically sleeps in a crate). During the meet and greet, we always ask what rules you have for your pup so that we can follow them to the best of our ability (i.e. you don’t allow your dog on the couch, no human food, etc.)

We’ll do lots of playing in the house/our large backyard and we’ll go on as many walks as needed based on the weather/your pups energy level.
