Holistic Pet Care
Everyone in our home LOVES animals. Your pets will get all the love, affection, and walks. Our 3 year old son cannot get enough of dogs, and provides great exposure for animals to become familiar/socialize with small children. He has a very approachable demeanour, knows to put his hand out and let them smell, and is confident with all sizes. We also have a newborn who we want to continue exposing to dogs. Between my partner and I, we aim for 20,000 steps/day without a dog... so would love to add another four legs (or more) to our count. Taking in and loving other people's dogs is a great fit for us right now, as we determine what kind of dog to get for ourselves.

Judy had another wonderful stay with Kirsten & her family!
Kirsten, Nic and their wee crew took the very best care of Gilly. He was so happy with them, it felt like a coming home. They are the loveliest family - I could not have asked for more!
Kirsten immediately made me feel so comfortable leaving Max with her! She sent videos and photos throughout the day & when I picked up Max at the end of the day, he was a tired pup. Will be rebooking with her!!!
We had another amazing experience with Kirsten and family! Nova had lot’s of outdoor time and love from these sweet humans! Thanks again for taking such great care of our gal. :)
Judy had the best time with Kirsten, Nic & their kiddos. They accommodated us last minute & were quick to respond to our messages. Judy seemed comfortable in their home straight away during the meet & greet. Kirsten sent loads of pictures and videos over the weekend, which we really appreciated! They took her on multiple walks per day and played fetch. Their home is in a great location, close to many green spaces and they have a fenced backyard. We felt confident that Judy was in safe hands and will 100% book with them again!
Very responsive, and such a great host for Rosey. Lots of updates and no issues accommodating us! Rosey had the best time and would love to stay again :)

Schedule
I am on maternity leave and my partner works from home one day a week. Between the two of us, we would be able to provide both morning, day time, and evening walks/check-ins every day of the week. We dog sit for family members and friends all of the time, and love embracing pets into our routines.

Safety, trust & environment
We have both a fenced-in front and back yard, but also have long extension cables/leashes we use to ensure they are safe/secure. We live close to dog parks/fields and have great elevation in the neighbourhood to maximize walks.
A typical day
I love to ensure that all pets needs are met. - physical, mental, social etc. so take pride in engaging them in both indoor and outdoor activities. My partner, son, and I love playing catch/fetch in addition to long walks and off-leash dog parks (if okay with/approved by owner).
