I currently am doing a virtual graduate program and I love having a furry friend to keep me company and can spend all day with them! I have also been volunteering with shelter dogs for the past couple of years. Because of this I have experience with lots of different temperaments, and have received additional specialized training for both shy and anxiety prone dogs as well as reactive, high-energy dogs. Therefore, I feel very comfortable handling a wide range of dogs. I have also dealt with many different breeds such as very high energy huskies, strong pit-bulls, stubborn chihuahuas, etc so I feel comfortable around any breed of dog. I’ve lived with my roommates cats for many years so I am experienced in everyday care for cats and have cat-sit many times in the past. My cat is very opinionated so I have lots of experience with any quirks that your cat may have and am very respectful of their boundaries.

For booking, I typically like to do a phone call to discuss details to make sure that we would be a good fit and then I am more than happy to set up a meet and greet if it would be beneficial. I am very respectful of everyone’s boundaries and am happy to work up trust between us if needed.

Super nice, super responsible and a super find! This was our first experience with Kirsten. We were so fortunate to find such a nice person and fabulous dog sitter. She took on 3 dogs… walking , feeding, and playing with them. She even found room to sleep as they all spent the night with her on a queen sized bed. All 3 dogs told us they loved her and hope they will see her again. Finally, the house was in perfect order when we returned. Thank you, Kirsten!

Kirsten was great with Ernie! He has bad separation-related stress, and she made us feel so at ease while we were gone. She provided consistent updates and made sure to follow everything Ernie needed for his routine and comfort. Highly recommend and would happily use her again when we travel in the future!

Kirsten stayed in our apartment and took care of our dog for a week. Our dog is big and can be anxious, but Kirsten asked lots of questions, took detailed notes, and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Kirsten also made communication easy while we were away. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
I do all of my work online so as long as I have Wifi I am able to work from anywhere and also have a super flexible schedule because of that. I can typically spend almost all of my day with your animal because I work from home.

- I would like to know any information about how they react to different stimuli, especially other dogs/animals and people so I know best how to ensure we have safe and fun walks. I try to stick to the schedule they are used too so any information on feeding and walking times is much appreciated.
