I work full time during the week, but evenings and most weekends I'm free to care for dogs. Whether your pup is looking for a quick walk, a mozy around the neighborhood, an active, engaging play session, or an overnighter- I will, with the occasional help of my labrador, Bella along with our dog friend, Frankie, make sure to keep your pup happy and occupied.

I have a fenced in yard, a couple of friendly dogs of my own, and can crate your pup with their own crate, so please provide if crating is preferred. I prefer a meet and greet to ensure a good fit for your pup. That would look different depending on the service. Dog walking and House Sitting: I will meet you and your fur friend at your home - this will help establish trust and familiarity for the dog while you are there. At this point we can go over the safest entry into your home, routines for your pup, and any specific care requirements. Doggy Day Care and Boarding: You will meet at my home. Where I will bring my two dogs out to meet you and your pup (everybody leashed) and we can talk and sniff and ensure initial vibes are correct for everybody's safety. When we confirm that the dogs are showing no signs of threat/discomfort, we can move everybody into the gated area of our yard and let your dog off leash. We have lots of smells and space to roam about, so this should be an exciting little adventure for your friend. At this point you can share any specific care instructions and routines important to your dog's happiness.

A typical day
I enjoy a nice game of fetch or tug of war, but will encourage snuggles if that seems to be preferred. Walks on sidewalks around the neighborhood, practicing commands or learning new tricks is always fun, but I will always follow the commands with your dog that you provide to ensure consistency for your furry friend. We enjoy spending as much time outside as possible as weather permits, but we have an abundance of toys, comfy snuggle zones, and play space inside that we can use on those yucky Wisconsin weather days.

Pet care experience
I've had three black labs in my life, who have turned me into a dog obsessed human! When I attend social gatherings, I am usually found hanging out with the dog giving it some loving attention. When I was younger I walked my neighbors' dogs. One of these dogs was deaf and I learned different ways to communicate with him. I am friendly and compassionate and will provide your pet with warmth and snuggles while you are away!
