DBS - Kind, reliable, experienced animal lover

Hello, my name is Kirsten and I love animals! I've been a cat owner my entire life - we had cat companions as a child as far back as I can remember. From the black and white moggie - Kizzy - who used to drag WHOLE wild rabbits to our back doorstep, to the beautiful Abyssinian - Cleo - who was afraid of her own shadow, I adored them all! We also had family dogs from when I was a baby. Shona the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel had the softest ears ever and - later on - Bracken the Basset Hound was the biggest cuddler. School friends used to joke that I lived in a zoo - at one point we had 26 pets, including goldfish, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, lovebirds and not forgetting Rosie the albino rat. Nowadays, I have a cat - Merlin - a ginger and white torpedo of purrs and playfulness, who is eleven years old and still gives off kitten energy. I also have two female guinea pigs, as well as two kids and a husband(!) I'll be honest - if your pet is a cuddler - we may have a problem in that I will find it difficult to drag myself away! I should probably mention the boring bits - I hold a clear, enhanced DBS certificate which is registered with the annual update service, and I also hold a certificate in pet first aid.

Safety, trust & environment

For cat-sitting and pop-ins for rodents and fish, you can rest assured that I will turn up as scheduled to feed, clean and care for your pets once or twice daily as agreed. Dog walking is one of my great loves! I'll do my very best to put your pup at ease by using leashes and harnesses supplied by you, so they're used to feel and smell of the equipment. I don't do off-lead walking unless your doggo has excellent recall. I hold a full, clear, enhanced DBS certificate and am a very trustworthy person.

Absolutely incredible cat sitter. Kirsten sent us pictures every day of our fur babies and how they were getting on, and playing with the cat toys. She's a wonderful and caring person and highly recommend to anybody that needs their cat looking after.
