I am home full-time. I may need to shift certain times slightly if I have another appointment booked, but I always make sure every pet gets the time and attention they deserve.

I have two sweet dogs who get along great with other animals, even cats! I can crate your pup if needed or offer them their own room for extra comfort. There’s a dog door for easy potty access, and I’m happy to help teach them how to use it. I’ve fostered over 20 dogs in the last year and a half, and I always do slow, one-on-one introductions to make sure everyone feels safe and at ease. I’ve also completed over 80 services through the Wag! app, including boardings and many drop-ins at clients’ homes. I always make it a point to respect your space and follow any instructions you leave, just like I’d want someone to do in my own home. I’ll never assume anything; if I’m ever unsure, I’ll reach out and ask. I want to make sure both you and your pets feel completely comfortable and taken care of no matter what service is being done.

Information Kirsten M. would like to know about your pet
Please feel free to let me know ahead of time if there’s anything that might stress or upset your pet. I want everyone to feel safe and happy! I have experience with a wide range of breeds and welcome all babies with open arms. :) Please make me aware if your dog has a fear or sensitivity to men, women, or people you don’t introduce them to. I do not currently live with any one else, but my partner comes periodically throughout the month, and I will make sure he doesn’t visit during the boardings if your dog(s) have a sensitivity to men or people in general.
A typical day
I have a large backyard where my dogs love to run and play tag, plus plenty of toys and treats to share! If your pup prefers to relax, we’ve got a big comfy couch and extra dog beds, or space if they have their own. To make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable, I limit boarding to 2 dogs at a time (excluding the 2 I already have). Even with a full house, every pup gets love, attention, and one-on-one time to ensure they feel content, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them for drop-ins. Whatever the situation is or their preference, I will always try my best to make them feel right at home.

Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Kirsten! I have extensive experience with different animal species, breeds and temperaments. I would love to hang out with any animal you may have. I personally have 2 dogs; Queen is a 7 year old Rottweiler/Doberman mix. Maia is a rescue, 3 year old American bully (Susie, the third dog on my profile, is my great aunt’s and doesn’t live in my home). I have 3 cats, and 3 reptiles, as well; Nova, Luna and Astra are my cats. They’re all spayed and up to date on vaccines. I foster dogs occasionally, as well. :) I absolutely love all types of animals and enjoy being around them!

Reviews

Our cats absolutely adore Kirsten. I’m so grateful she checks in on them while I’m away. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands.

Second time Kirsten takes care of our girl. Thank you so much for treating her like one of yours. Thank you.

Great communication through Rover. Ellie is a mini dachshund and she was able to play safely with her bigger pups. Would definitely recommend.

Azul loved Kirsten. She took amazing care of our baby
