Hello, I’m Kirsten! I have extensive experience with different animal species, breeds and temperaments. I would love to hang out with any animal you may have. I personally have one dog; Maia is a rescue, 4 year old American bully. I have 3 cats, and 3 reptiles, as well; Nova, Luna and Astra are my cats. They’re all spayed and up to date on vaccines. :) I love all types of animals and enjoy being around them! The black dog on my profile is Queen, she was an 8-year-old Rottweiler mix. I unfortunately don’t have the strength to remove her off of my account, but she has passed on and is no longer in my home.

I am an incredibly overprotective, ridiculously picky pet parent. Our dogs are my entire world, and my standards for their care are borderline unreasonable. Kirsten is that rare find who actually met my impossible standards, and I am so grateful to have found her. Truthfully, I am reluctant to even write this review because I selfishly want to keep her a secret!
Kirsten was absolutely amazing with my dogs! They stayed at her home, and she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing they were in good hands. She constantly sent me pictures and kept me updated on what they were doing, which I really appreciated. It was so reassuring being able to see that my dogs were happy, comfortable, and having a great time. You can tell Kirsten genuinely loves and cares about the dogs she watches. I never had to wonder how they were doing because she kept me updated throughout their entire stay. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitter. I will absolutely be using her again! ❤️🐾
Kirsten is always attentive and caring when taking care of our cats! We have booked with her several times now and our cats love her.

Schedule
I am home full-time. I may need to shift certain times slightly if I have another appointment booked, but I always make sure every pet gets the time and attention they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one sweet dog who gets along great with other animals, even cats! I can crate your pup if needed or offer them their own room for extra comfort. There’s a dog door for easy potty access, and I’m happy to help teach them how to use it. I’ve fostered over 20 dogs in the last year and a half, and I always do slow, one-on-one introductions to make sure everyone feels safe and at ease. I’ve also completed over 100 services through the Wag! app, including boardings and many drop-ins at clients’ homes. I always make it a point to respect your space and follow any instructions you leave, just like I’d want someone to do in my own home. I’ll never assume anything; if I’m ever unsure, I’ll reach out and ask. I want to make sure both you and your pets feel completely comfortable and taken care of no matter what service is being done.

A typical day
I have a large backyard where my dog loves to run and play tag, plus plenty of toys and treats to share! If your pup prefers to relax, we’ve got a big comfy couch and extra dog beds, or space if they have their own. To make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable, I limit boarding to 2 dogs at a time (excluding the one I already have). Even with a full house, every pup gets love, attention, and one-on-one time to ensure they feel content, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them for drop-ins. Whatever the situation is, or their preference, I will always try my best to make them feel right at home.

- Please feel free to let me know ahead of time if there’s anything that might stress or upset your pet. I want everyone to feel safe and happy! I have experience with a wide range of breeds and welcome all babies with open arms. :) Please make me aware if your dog has a fear or sensitivity to men, women, or people you don’t introduce them to. I do not currently live with any one else, but my partner comes periodically throughout the month, and I will make sure he doesn’t visit during the boardings if your dog(s) have a sensitivity to men or people in general.
