Pet care experience
New to Rover, But Years of Pet Care
I am new to Rover, but I have been caring for dogs and even horses for many years. I used to dog-walk and pet-sit for my neighbors in high school. I am currently a senior in college and have been taking care of animals in my apartment building for some time. I grew up with a pomeranian mix, whom I helped train. I have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes, as well as special needs. I am happy to do a meet and greet with your pet and answer any and all questions you may have!

Kirsten was awesome! She came over beforehand to meet our dogs and to best understand their routine. She asked questions as needed throughout her stay and most importantly, she loved our pets!

Schedule
I am currently a college student, and I am only in class 1.5-4 hours a day (Monday-Thursday). I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend a lot of time with the pets I look after and give them frequent walks. I am also home a lot of the day to hang out with them!

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to come to your home or look after your dog in my apartment. I have an apartment with a fenced-in dog area and plenty of trails for walks. I have had many dogs stay with me in my apartment, and I would be happy to share photos of where your dog would be staying if you board with me!
A typical day
I am a very active person; I often walk at least a few miles per day. I am happy to provide as much exercise as you see fit for your pet. I am also content to sit on the couch and hang out or play games with your dog!
