Hi! My name is Kirsten, and I am such a big animal lover. Thank you for considering me to take care your loved one(s). I can’t wait to meet them! Photos posted on my profile are of all the furry friends that I love taking care of here on Rover, and also three of my own (Maui, Jax, & Von) 🥰 A little about me is — I love to be outdoors and staying active (especially with our fur-littles) when not behind a desk. I love to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, zip-lining and just about anything that gets me outside. I have many years of experience with house training and working with young/old pups and kittens of all breeds, also with deafness and blindness. I am also a nurse and animal-CPR certified with the American Red Cross. So, administering oral, optic and subcutaneous prescription medications, and/or chest compressions is all well within my comfort zone.

I will always allow the opportunity for a meet and greet, so your pets are most comfortable with me from day one! When it’s time for potty breaks, I’ll always ensure safety and the opportunity for exercise. Fresh water and litter are also a high priority of mine while in my care. I try to go above and beyond for their needs and safety!

We are so thankful that Kirsten was able to house sit for our pets while we were traveling. She kept us updated with photos and messages, so we knew they were healthy and happy! It was a huge relief knowing she was loving them, even picking up more of their favorite food when they ran out. We will recommend Kirsten to anyone needing a pet sitter and absolutely use her again!!

Schedule
I work a flexible day job where I am able to work from home most days of the week, Mon-Fri, 7-3:30. Mornings and afternoons/evenings work great for me, however, I am always willing to see what I can do. 😊
