Pet care experience
Having grown up with dogs, cats, and birds my entire life, I have always been very comfortable around all kinds of animals. From a young age I dog sat for many of my neighbors, this included taking dogs on walks and spending the night at their homes while watching their pets. Into college and graduate school, I have continued to pet sit for my friends and enjoy being with animals so much!

I love animals so much and having grown up with them, I feel I am good at reading their energy and respecting their space. When walking dogs or pet sitting for you, I will always be calm and do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable with me. I love playing with animals and will make sure they have as much fun as possible in addition to going on walks and getting their bathroom breaks!
Information Kirsten G. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know what type of temperament the dog has. Do they like being cuddled? Are they more stand offish. I also would like to know how they do on a leash and if I will need to be careful taking them out. I would also like to know how they are with other dogs so that I know to give them plenty of space if I see another dog walking our way.
A typical day
When coming to visit animals, I will make sure to pay special attention to toys or games they enjoy playing. Having my own pets, I know how important it is to me that they are active. In addition I would love to take dogs on walks around calm neighborhoods with plenty of shade. I love exploring and am willing to take your dog on their favorite route!

Availability
I currently work Monday-Friday, I am available all evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes my schedule is more open as I am a medical student and work from home some days of the week (schedule is variable week to week)
