I've pet sit over the years for cats and dogs, varying from drop ins for feedings/walks and cuddles to staying over night for a week or more. I love animals of all kinds and have had several of my own- currently a cat mom to my fur babies Toffee Cake, Mocha Bean, and Honey Bun. My family has had a couple of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters over the years while growing up as well. No dog is too big or small, young or old, energetic or laid back, loud or drooly- I love them all! I am also feline friendly- I try to make every cat my friend. I can do overnights on weekends (can negotiate during weekdays), drop ins throughout the week. Most service needs can be negotiated depending on your animals specific needs. I have some experience with special needs animals (physical disability for the animal).

I prefer keeping an animal where they're most comfortable. If they have a schedule they abide by, then I will do best to work around that to keep them on their routine. I understand how routine and environment is important - my cats are routine dependent, especially when to comes to feedings. I will usually schedule a home visit to meet your furbaby(ies) to get an idea of their comfort and their schedule.

Kirsten took great care of my fur baby Jeep on 12/1/25 - 12/5/25, she shared one photo of Jeep, and commented on his week activity on the last day of care. Although she did not share daily photos of Jeep, I had peace of mind knowing that our Jeep was well taken care of by an experienced animal lover and professional. Jeep had fun, looked comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Kirsten and will book again when we have a long weekend or upcoming vacation.

Kirsten was wonderful with our 3 doggies! Our family was in town for a local tournament. When we found ourselves needing help, we reached out to Kirsten. She responded promptly, answered all of our questions and helped us to feel confident that our fur babies would be in great hands. One of our pups can be a bit timid and I told her of our concerns. She assured me that she understood his needs. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day, which helped me to know they were settling in with her. When we returned from the tournament, the timid boy was on his back getting tummy rubs by Kirsten! We were surprised and very grateful for her care of our pups! This was our family’s first experience using Rover and we would absolutely book again!

Schedule
I have a full time job, with longer hours Monday thru Thursday (7:30 am-5:30). Friday's my office closes at noon. In the past, I've used lunch breaks to stop in and let dogs out for a potty break. I do my best to be flexible with a pets schedule. I am always willing to discuss their routines and work together with pet parents.
