A typical day
It really depends on the pet. If they're energetic, then I will play and walk with the pet as much as needed. But if I'm just needed for company, I'm happy to just be there for them.

Pet care experience
I've grown up with cats and dogs my entire life, usually about 5 cats and 2 dogs (right now I have 4 cats and 2 dogs). At the age of 12 I started volunteering for a feline rescue that aimed to get ferals fixed and either returned or rehomed. I have experience both in the field and inside working with the cats themselves. I worked to socialize cats and get them adopted out for 4 years, working with over 300 cats. While I may not have as an extensive amount of experience with dogs, I have spend multiple summers dog sitting and I'm well accustomed to new creatures. I have my own dogs that I take on walks (between 2-5 miles, 40-120 mins), and love to spend time with. I have some experience with frogs and fish, and I feel comfortable working with other animals.
