I love providing care for a variety of pets throughout my day! I am primarily available on weekends for Dog Walking and Drop In services, but can provide care around my clinic job during the week too!

I want to provide the best possible care for your pets, whether it is in your home/farm for a Drop In or a Dog Walk around the neighborhood. I require a free Meet and Greet before any new client booking, so that we get a chance to know each other, meet the pets, and make sure it is a good fit on both sides. I provide photos with every visit/walk and updates, so you know how your pets are doing! I pride myself on honesty and transparency and will provide you with all the information through their services. I can also provide a Vulnerable Police Check if requested. Please always feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

I want to know all of the important info about your pets! I will require a new client form and waiver to be signed at the Meet and Greet, and would love any other details about your pet that you can give me ahead of our first booking. I would also ask that you continue to keep me informed of any changes with your pet, whether it is health or behaviour related. I want to work as a team with you to provide the best experience for your pet!
A typical day
I love to work with dogs on their continued training and helping them have the best time on their walks or time with me! I love caring for animals of all varieties and would love to know their favourite things to do, so we can do them too.

Pet care experience
I have been working in the animal care field for over 15 years with a wide variety of species and would love to help your pets have the best experience! I have a H.BSc. in Animal Physiology, worked as a zookeeper for 6 years, was a manager at a local dog boarding kennel for many years, and now work in a vet clinic! In addition to my experience with exotics, I have been working with dogs, cats and horses my whole life. Whether it is dog walking, drop ins for your cat or exotics, or farm care you are looking for I am experienced and would love to care for your pets!

I would trust Kirsten with my pets any day. She cares enough to do it right, to give my dog the care she needs and deserves, plus a little spoiling on the side. I’ve had a variety of pets and fosters and Kirsten has always met them where they are. She doesn’t force interactions, she respects boundaries and she makes sure that my pet is comfortable and safe even if it means something takes longer or the plan has to change a bit. I can count on her to relay changes in behaviour or activity so I’m always in the loop and we’re making decisions together that give my pets the best possible experience. Quick with communication and a plan in an emergency too!
Kirsten is AMAZING with pets of all sizes and types. From small animals, to cats, to dogs and even farm animals, she always has impeccable handling skills, patience and joy in any animal in her care. She has helped with my dog Rubble since he was a young puppy and he still adores her 3.5 years later. I would never hesitate to leave my dog with her or recommend her to anyone else!
