Safety, trust & environment
I think structure is important for a pet, so I am happy to use whatever training tools you have already implemented. We pet parents don't mess around when it comes to our babies, so whatever routines work for your pet (no matter how specific or silly you may think), I'm happy to oblige.
Information Kirsten D. would like to know about your pet
Every animal is unique, so please let me know if your pet has any quirks or specific routines that I should know about - i.e. my dog won't eat his food unless he gets his release command "okay."
A typical day
I believe mental and physical stimulation are equally important for your pet's wellbeing. I love playing games, practicing tricks or obedience, and letting them explore the world outside.

Certified Animal Lover
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether you've got a zoomie-powered puppy, a senior snoozer, or somewhere in between, I’m committed to providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. As a pet parent myself, I have hands-on experience working with reactive and anxious dogs, and I understand the patience, consistency, and awareness they require. I’m comfortable following specific training techniques, avoiding triggers on walks, and creating a calm, safe environment to help your pet feel secure and supported. My experience also includes: Puppies: Reinforcing routines, basic commands, and plenty of supervised play High-energy/working dogs: Structured exercise, mental enrichment, and keeping a consistent schedule Senior dogs: Gentle care, administering medications if needed, and keeping a steady routine Cats: From social snugglers to independent explorers—I respect their space while making sure they feel safe and enriched Other small animals: I’m happy to care for other furry (or feathered!) companions as well. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, lots of love, and a dependable sitter you can trust. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and in good hands while you’re away.

Reviews
Kirsten is a very responsible and caring individual. Easy to work with and is very knowledgeable about both dogs and cats. Her attentiveness and compassion has really impressed me, and it truly shows in the way she cares for my own two cats.
We have trusted Kirsten with our boxer and 3 cats quite often and Kirsten is very reliable and respectful. She is consistent with communication and photos while we are away. Kirsten treats our fur babies like her own and they are happy and healthy when we return. We have such a peace of mind leaving them to her care. I highly recommend Kirsten to care for your pets!
Kirsten is an absolutely amazing pet sitter! She is caring, reliable, attentive, and truly treats my kitty, Diego, like her own. She’s also watched my former dog and did an exceptional job! I always feel completely at ease knowing my fur baby is in such loving hands. She goes above and beyond, keeps me updated, and makes sure my little buddy is happy, safe, and well cared for. I am so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their animals.
