I have taken care of family friends dogs and cats for years. I have also worked at a veterinary hospital during school breaks for 4 years. Lastly, I was born and raised on a farm so I have been taking care of animals since I was able to walk. I do not work but I am a full-time veterinary student. I do not work from my home. I am usually not at home on 1 weekend out of the month. I would like to have a long-term set schedule but I am still flexible. I am an active person so daily walks/runs can be expected and plenty of play time as well. Your pet will definitely get their daily exercise in with me.

We invited Kirkland over for a meet & greet with our dogs, Sammy & Jasper, before hiring her. She was great with both dogs, even our Sammy who is people shy, and we felt comfortable having her stay with our dogs while we were gone. She did everything we asked, and kept in touch so we would knew how their time with her was going. It's so great having someone we can trust with our fur babies!
Kirkland has always loved animals and has known she wants to be a Vet since she was in 2nd grade. She is working hard to become a Vet. She loves dogs and is a dog owner. She has been a dog sitter on many occasions. She has sat with dogs for the day and some for the week. All who have had her as a dog sitter have been very happy with the care of their dogs. All have used Kirkland as a sitter on multiple occasions. Kirkland is responsible, loving and very caring with animals and I would leave my pets with her anytime.

Schedule
Pet care is my life. I am fairly busy with school but I am an early riser and we have an hour lunch break where I would be able to take care of your pets. My afternoons are usually pretty free other than when I need to study so you can expect your pet to get a lot of attention in the afternoon and evenings.

A typical day
I love playing with animals so you can expect them to have play time daily. I am very active so long walks/runs can be expected as well. I love going to North Farm and walking around all the fields.
