Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because of my flexible schedule as a graduate student. Since I don’t have children, I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, play breaks in the afternoon, or winding down with snuggles in the evening, I’m able to adjust my schedule around each pet’s needs. My priority is making sure every pup feels safe, loved, and well cared for while their owner is away.

In my home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved as if they were my own. I provide cozy spaces for rest, plenty of playtime, and regular walks or potty breaks. Since I already have a small dog who loves the company of other little pups, visiting pets will have both companionship and fun. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to keep things consistent—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or favorite play activities. I always make sure pets get the exercise, attention, and affection they need, while also respecting the home and keeping everything clean and secure.

It’s also helpful to know how they do with other dogs (especially since I have my small Maltese, Kodi), as well as their comfort level with new people and environments. The more I know about their likes, dislikes, and quirks, the better I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for like family.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and entertained! Depending on their energy level and personality, fun activities might include walks around the neighborhood, playtime with toys, tug-of-war, or fetch in the yard. For pups who enjoy socializing, they can also spend time playing with my little Maltese, Kodi, who loves making new friends. For the more cuddly types, I’m always down for cozy snuggles and belly rubs. My goal is to make sure each pet feels at home and has plenty of love, fun, and attention while they’re with me.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals and even grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, which gave me lots of hands-on experience and background in the pet care world. I share my home with a small pup who absolutely loves making friends with other little dogs, so your pet will feel right at home. Caring for animals is something that brings me joy every day, and I treat every pet like family—safe, loved, and spoiled with attention.
