As a dog mom myself, I understand that peace of mind and trust is absolutely everything when it comes to your pet! I am an exceptionally responsible and dependable person and dog owner who will take the time necessary to help you to feel confident & comfortable that you're leaving your dog in good hands. I am a professional person who attends closely to detail and will follow all your instructions about how to care for your dog. Please know, no request is too much for me to consider; I understand what it feels like to leave your beloved pet with someone else temporarily! It's a big deal! Your fur baby will be happy and healthy and safe with me. On walks I watch dogs closely and am never on my cellphone. I never listen to headphones while walking dogs. All my attention will be with your pet, and I will never be walking more than one dog at a time. I won't let your dog interact with other dogs unless you tell me it's ok and I will always ask other dog owners if their dog is friendly before I let the dogs interact. I love to walk and will take your dog on as long of a walk as you want me to! But I will only take your dog to a dog park or to Montrose Dog Beach if you tell me it's ok. Your dog and I will have fun together and they will be 100% safe and cared for as if they were my own.

Please let me know about your dog's temperament, likes and dislikes, routine, and any special needs they have (i.e. do they have seperation anxiety?). Please let me know every need you have as a dog owner so I can care for your dog as closely to how you care for them! Your comfort, and your dog's comfort, is of the utmost importance to me.
A typical day
I love to walk (former New Yorker!) so I will happily take your dog on as long of a walk as you want me to! If I'm boarding your pup, I live right by the lake so your dog will get exercise with a beautiful view along the lakefront trail. Your dog will be 100% supervised in my home and I will look after them as if they're my own. I only board one dog at a time, because that's what's ideal for me, my partner Zach, and our pup Von. All my attention will be on your dog when they're in my care and I won't leave them alone. I love to play with dogs! I will have fun playing with your dog and their favorite toy, or, if they prefer to play with their toys alone I will watch them to make sure they're supervised. I love to give dogs their favorite treats and I like to ask them to do tricks (even just "sit!") before they earn their treat as a reward for being so good! I am also very affectionate with dogs and love to pet them and snuggle them if they enjoy those activities. Dogs are allowed on furniture and in beds in my home. However, I will abide fully by your rules if I'm pet sitting in your home :).

Hi, I'm Kirin! I've taken care of dogs and cats for 30 years & I'm a dog mom to a 7-year-old rescue pup named Von who I've raised since he was 5 months old. My first job as a teenager was pet-sitting and for decades since then, friends, family, and neighbors have often relied on me to petsit their dogs and cats and board their dogs at my home because I adore animals. I am trustworthy, dependable, and responsible. I treat every pet with the utmost love and care as if it were my own! I can't wait to meet, play with, and have fun with your pup or cat!
