Hi, I’m Kirby! From energetic puppies to serene senior cats, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a variety of animals. Throughout my double decade-long pet sitting career, I’ve dedicated myself to providing tailored, loving care for each pet, ensuring they feel safe and cherished. I also strive to give pet parents peace of mind, knowing their fur baby and home are in good hands. My own cat, Charlie (who is currently staying with a friend while I settle into my new digs), along with the many other pawed, winged, and whiskered companions I’ve cared for, are a testament to my love for animals and my understanding of their unique needs. What you'll get when you book with me: - A introductory PHONE CALL to discuss your pet’s needs and answer any questions you may have, ensuring we’re a great fit before we meet in person. - A personalized and COMPREHENSIVE MEET & GREET that suits your schedule, where I take the time to get to know you, your pet, and your unique preferences and expectations. - Daily REPORTS, PICTURES, and VIDEOS regaling you of the fun things that are happening and the cute things that your baby doing, so you never miss a moment. - A PET LOG with notes on walking, feeding, sleeping, play, playdates (if allowed), and potty "production," for your peace of mind and record-keeping. - ALL-NATURAL TREATS at the Meet & Greet and first visit/day of the sit (with permission). ***With overnight sits of 3 or more days: - A TOP-TO-BOTTOM post-stay CLEAN of guest and living areas: thorough wipe-down of all surfaces in bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces; change and laundering of sheets and towels in bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen; dishes washed and put away; floors and rugs swept, vacuumed, and defurred; all trash, recycling, and compost taken out and new bags put in. - A CLOSING CHECKLIST detailing how I left things before finishing the sit (i.e. what time was your furbaby last fed, when was their last potty break, what cleaning was done, and any other pertinent notes). What I bring to each sit: 1. Specialized Skills: I excel in positive behavior reinforcement and have a natural ability to bond with even the most timid of pets. My experience includes administering medication, senior care, and providing attentive, loving care to animals of all ages and temperaments - even the quirky or challenging ones! 2. Comprehensive Care: From early morning feedings to accident clean-ups to evening cuddles, I cover all aspects of pet care. My services ensure your furry friend's daily needs are met while also providing them with companionship and affection. I truly love animals and it is a joy to get to spend my time with them! 3. Tested Emergency Preparedness: As a former emergency responder, my first reaction in any emergency is to stay calm, take action, and inform you right away. Depending on the severity of the situation, I’ll consult Rover care either for guidance on the best course of action or to assess the situation while I drive your pet to the nearest animal urgent care or emergency room. 4. Diverse Animal Experience: I have experience with a wide range of animals - dogs, cats, birds, fish, poultry, livestock, and small pets - equipping me to meet many different pet-sitting needs. I have extensive experience with birds, having grown up with an African Grey Parrot (just ask about Dante, I have lots of stories!) and several parakeets. 5. Personal Touch: I treat every pet as if they were my own. My dedication to building authentic relationships means I go the extra mile to ensure your furry friend feels loved and secure in your absence. I understand that each of our furry friends have their own unique personality and preferences, and I take the time to get to know and respect those individual quirks. 6.
