I have had and been responsible for pets my entire life. I have never not had a dog. I currently have 7 dogs and too many cats. I am working on having a small farm. I love animals! I have experience with pets of all ages and energy levels, I have experience giving meds to cats, dogs, and birds. I have been on Rover since 2020 starting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I Moved to Rome, Georgia in Sept. 2023! I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I am flexible with ongoing or one time care. Open availability for drop in visits and walks. - Kira

I do not currently board pets at my home because I have too many of my own. At client’s homes, I follow the instructions for care that they provide me.

I’m from Rome but live on Lake Wedowee in Alabama. I had an unexpected meeting I had to attend in Rome and Kira was able to watch my dog after a very last minute request. She was prompt, courteous and extremely accommodating. I am always worried about leaving my fur baby with anyone but as soon as I met her and saw her place, I was put at ease instantly. She’s a little lady, I am too and when excited, my 80+ pound German Shepherd can be hard to handle but she handled him skillfully and with confident ease. I was impressed. Also, we live in a pretty remote area so Champ is able to spend a lot of time outdoors off leash, he LOVED her spacious, fenced in back yard and I did too. I highly recommend her and we are soooo happy to have found her!
Kira was an excellent communicator and was so sweet to my shy girl!
Kira was Amazing!! She met us & Gypsy same day! I loved seen the pictures and updates every day❤️ Will DEFINITELY call her again!

Planning
I am currently a homemaker and have open availability Monday-Saturday. Sundays are a little tricky with volunteering and attending church but I am able to move my schedule around if needed.
