I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when I started my own neighborhood dog-walking business. Since then, friends, family, neighbors, and referrals have trusted me with their pets, and spending time with animals continues to be one of my greatest joys. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s helping a puppy stay on track with crate training and routines, keeping an energetic dog active and engaged, or providing gentle, patient care for a senior dog, I tailor my approach to each pet’s unique needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog as an individual. I understand that some dogs want long walks and adventures, while others are happiest relaxing at home with plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive. You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and personalized care throughout their stay.

Because I primarily offer house sitting and drop-in visits, my goal is to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in the environment they know best. I take time to learn each pet’s schedule, preferences, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. During house sits and drop-ins, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, enrichment, and companionship while ensuring pets feel safe and secure. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so they can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own and prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring pets outdoors, following household rules, and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving, and attentive care.

Kira babysat our 3 month old Airedale puppy for the weekend and took the best care of him! He’s very active, still learning our home, and on his way to being potty trained, so he needed a lot of attention - she sent me pictures throughout the day, told me how things were going, and gave me peace of mind. By the time we returned home, he was so sad to see her go. We’ll definitely keep working with Kira in the future - she was attentive, thoughtful and made him feel safe. Thank you!
Kira is genuinely one of a kind. She watched my dog and I came home to a house that looked exactly as I’d left it, a happy and worn-out pup, and a camera roll full of photos from the whole trip. She took her to get a pup cup, hit the dog park, went hiking, and did daily walks. I’ve been friends with her for years and she’s the kind of person who thinks of others. Warm, social, and the type everyone gravitates toward. Every person I know who’s met Kira says the same thing. If you want someone who will treat your pet and your home like her own, she’s your person.!!
Kira is my dog’s BEST friend! I am crazy picky about dog sitters, but I fully trust Kira. She sends daily pictures, takes my dog out for pup cups and fun adventures, and loves my dog like her own. It doesn’t get better than Kira!

Schedule
I’m currently working remotely Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and will have plenty of time to prioritize walks and playtime depending on your dogs needs!
