I’ve owned and cared for dogs most of my life, and for several years have done so professionally. I truly enjoy what I do and understand how stressful it can be to board a beloved pet. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable environment so both you and your dog can feel at ease while you’re away.

Kira helped out big time with a last minute boarding request. Fast responses and I could feel her genuine care/love of dogs. I felt nothing but trust and was at ease dropping my dog off with her. Will book with her again.
Overall the stay for our pups was ok. Written communication was very good, but picture updates were not. The photos that were initially sent were very up close face photos, and I had to ask for full body photos. I was told it was hard to take pictures of one of them because she moved too much. There were no pictures sent of them just relaxing or playing with their toys at all. Another thing that was not great was the repeated attempts to inform me of reasons why my dog wouldn't eat her food. This was already discussed pre visit that one of the pups, a senior dog, would sometimes not eat her breakfast. Instructions were given on what to do if that happened, which were followed exactly so that part was great, but I didn't need repeated suggestions of what possible causes were when it was mentioned ahead of time that this is a known behavior.
Toast had a great time! We are also super appreciative of Kira's flexibility when we had travel issues that impacted the original planned drop off time.
Kira is the best. Kind. Caring. Knowledgeable. Everything you’d want when you have to leave behind the ones you love.

I work from home, so your dog will have consistent supervision and care throughout the day. My home is best suited for dogs who enjoy a relaxed environment with regular attention, gentle play, and a predictable routine.

We live in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, and I have a large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. Dogs also have access to the full downstairs area of the home when indoors.
A typical day
I focus on creating a low-stress environment with appropriate exercise, enrichment, and downtime. This is a great fit for dogs who are able to settle comfortably inside the home and do not require constant high-intensity activity.

- I have experience working with dogs with special needs and behavioral considerations. I’m happy to follow any routines, administer medications, and support any ongoing training you would like reinforced. I specialize in calm, low to moderate energy dogs, including seniors or dogs who prefer a quieter home environment. To maintain this environment, I’m not able to accommodate dogs that require high levels of daily exercise or constant activity, such as many working or herding breeds.
